White is a right clumsy fucker like

Barca are lunatics, horribly run club. Don't get the continuing obsession with them and players still seemingly desperate to play for them, think their dominant Messi-era days could take quite some time to return. Their treatment of De Jong has been a joke.

Could be a howking this unless Palace adjust and improve, Arsenal look good down both flanks

Been coming since the first minute that, Palace don't looks great, Zinchenko heavily involved

Got Dribble Drury on comms, bloody awful

Wish Chelsea would come wading in for some of our dross/unwanted players -

Remember it well, pissed down with rain and Shola scored the winner -
Rotation innit. Money no object apparently. Good solid player but not worth much more than half that.

You can hardly blame the fans of a newly promoted club for being optimistic and confident. They're a bit of an unknown with the player turnover, their coach is highly thought of and in Johnson, they have a real talent who'll need to be dealt with. That said, they're coming up against a coach in EH who would never under (or over) estimate anyone, will have meticulously prepared the team in every way and also they're up against a team with a level of fitness, quality, defensive strength and ability to press them high that they won't have experienced before. I predict they'll start well but run out of steam and we'll win...but it might be tight and twitchy for a while. Verdict - 2-1. -
What a damning assessment It's honestly such a Chelsea thing to do, pinch another club's young/academy prospect (after he's made a handful of appearances) for stupid money, then they'll probably loan him out and let another club develop him further. Hate Chelsea with a passion.

He might well be but I think @brummie had a very different view of him IIRC.

Aye nowt to see here, online fans in posting cliched, media-fed bollocks shocker. 7th to 12th (totally dependent on attacking signings and with a full pre-season from EH and the coaching staff being most important) has been almost uniformly the response from anyone i've chatted with. -
Oh yeah I mean I wasn't saying that paying 55m for him isn't insane, it is. Just that paying 20m for a kid from Villa is just as daft and more a general point on Chelsea being a completely cunty club that I was hoping would crash and burn this year.
-
Not sure signing Cucurella for that amount is much dafter than signing that kid from Villa for 20m like. At least Cucurella is proven in the league and has demonstrable quality. Chelsea really are a loathsome outfit like

Most of the recent new members that are fans of other teams have brought plenty of knowledge and added to the general quality of the forum, especially @Milanista. I probably know more about Italian/European football by a factor of 100 thanks to him -

At this point, might as well just temporarily rename this thread to "Learn all about Leicester and how class their squad is and how they don't need to sell anyone" -

Maybe not a priority, but I wouldn't ever again want to be 1 injury from potentially having to throw Lascelles into the mix again. I'm personally thrilled he's signed, doesn't change the fact we still need a couple of attacking players of sufficient quality. -
Fair point in hindsight but a tricky thing to get into "off the cuff" and whether she thought of it at the time or after (as humans often do), probably selected to keep it light and respectful. Not the easiest forum to get too in-depth as they spend so much time on the top 4 or 5 teams and the others only get a 2 minute segment. Hopefully that will change as we grow but I thought she spoke clearly and smartly.
-
Just watched the latest episode of The Overlap on YT. Same stuff as usual generally but I thought Kendall Rowan did a decent job "representing" Newcastle and spoke fairly well and without any daft hype or twitter-style moaning.
-
I think maybe it's more that a lot of clubs are finding ways around it, than flat out ignoring it. Everton and their bollocks covid lies. Barcelona with their selling of TV rights, Man City and their weird sponsorships etc.

Apart from the silliness of all that, Leicester of all the fanbases out there should be well aware of their own "irrelevance" as recently as 6 years ago. Are they actually trying to infer, like fans of the other cunts up top, that no clubs should even try to break that monopoly? They of all clubs ought to understand what we're trying to do, I was a big fan of them winning the league.
