Weird attempt at a save like, though I think you credit the quality of the strike more
-
Guler is really something
-
I agree, lot of good instinctive qualities to work with and plenty of potential, were he not at such a weird club.
-
Perfect example. Chelsea are a disgrace

He's nothing like Carroll, almost no similarity at all. That said, until he gets the guidance he needs, he's not gonna look any better than we've seen, and yeah, he might well end up at Everton. The overarching point is the pity of players being led around by these money-obsessed agents, rarely get the setup they need and Chelsea is the worst of the lot for pilfering talented but raw youngsters, dangling London and big wages at them, not bothering to give much thought to their development and wasting them. Just imo.
-
You're likely right there, Delap was the new toy they had to have, forgetting that he's actually just a raw kid that needed proper coaching, not some uber-talented elite number 9 ready to go. The clubs are fucking stupid.
-
You never will at that clown club. It's hard to tell what he might have without a proper coaching setup at a progressive club that wants to develop it's players properly. I think there's raw ability but it's going to waste.

Filth, these younguns that go there rarely stand a chance.
-
I'm sure the wages are great and all but from the outside looking in, as a young player needing guidance, he doesn't get nearly enough game time and how many managers/voices has he had this year? Just a shit environment for any young player to develop. Agents are the worst thing in the game, all out for themselves.

Rosenior with some vital tactical tweaks that could make all the difference here, 8-2 down with 6 minutes left.
-
Delap's a right cunt but Howe could have done a lot with him, pity he picked these detestable twats
-
Garbago being useless as usual
-
Chelsea fans flouncing out in a huff, like they actually had any chance
-
Rosenior hasn't got a fucking clue what to do
-
I still recall Chelsea having a goal disallowed that would have made it 3-3 in the first leg. As it was being disallowed, you'd have gotten canny odds of it going from 3-2 to 7-2 on aggregate within about 15 minutes of real-time play from that point
-
Seriously Chelsea's only genuine strategy is to either give it to Neto to dribble into a blind alley or give it to Palmer and let him swing in a deep cross. Fucking eye aids
-
As good as PSG are, that GK of theirs is a disaster waiting to happen
-
7-2 on aggregate with still almost the entire game left
-
Ridiculous from Barcola.
-
Kvara, lovely strength and finish. Hope they splatter these wasters

Chelsea 0-1 Newcastle United (14/03/26) | post-match huddle pg. 30

Watched it through free from anxiety a second time. Cracking performance, some nice bits of football, great to have such a solid looking backline with Tino back there, Ramsdale played solid (nearly punished for one flap at a corner but thankfully not), midfield functioned well (Ramsey improving all the time) and Gordon put a heck of a shift in. Thought Chelsea were utterly awful. Their one strategy was basically advance the ball, give it to Palmer and let him swing in those curling crosses from central areas. Billions spent for that? Utter pish. It was also noticeable just how many soft FKs they got. The amount of times one of their players (usually Palmer) felt a hand on them and just collapsed to the floor and got the FK was stunning. How has this become so normal? It's one thing in their own half, frustrating but not threatening, but it was happening near our box as well, such a cheap way to allow threat to build towards the opposition. James inches from scoring from one such con-job. Awful stuff, officiating in the PL is consistently horrific. -
Liverpool are fucking dreadful
-
That 2-2 against them is looking like the biggest pissing away of points in recent memory. We win that 2-1 like we should have, they're in the bottom 3 and we're tucked just behind the top 5. Aggravating.

Scousers game was the home banker of the last 20 years

Keown . Can you imagine his reaction to that pen decision if it was given against him in his playing days.
