I wonder who was buying? Good way to kick off some steam after a tough loss!

True, although there have been a few examples of players opting to go elsewhere (usually Arsenal) because of the belief that being good and signing for Chelsea doesnt necessarily mean that you get opportunities. Spurs and Arsenal go on about those concerns to ease players away from Chelsea and I would imagine that all the other premiership clubs do the same. The problem is that Chelsea can also afford to pay ridiculous wages to go with ridiculous transfer fees. Scott Sinclair (currently on loan at Plymouth) is reputedly on £15k pw and has been since he signed for Chelsea as a 15 year old. The FA can surely do something about this, no? A teenager making £15K a week? Ridiculous. I hope the Russian gets bored and sells the f****** club. Win the CL Chelsea, so he doesn't care anymore. Nothing the FA can do tbh. Chelsea want to give him silly money, the kid's happy to take it. The FA have got more important things to do like getting shot of McLaren! Agree with your hopes and dreams for Chelsea though. Yeah, and the FA need to concentrate all their effort on that, cause I don't think they could do multiple things at once and get any of them right. I hope they go bankrupt when he leaves. Blue scum.

Found this: The Football Association's investigation into Roy Keane's new autobiography took a new and unexpected dive yesterday when a spokesman indicated that Keane's dog could face trial. The rare South American breed achieved prominence when seen on TV taking Keane out for his daily training sulk after the footballer's return from an abbreviated summer break in the Far East. The pet, named Seba, accompanied Keane everywhere he went while apparently doing very little and moving rather slowly. The FA has been told that there is no chance of a prosecution against Keane succeeding due to insanity (Keane's, not the FA's) so they have decided to target Seba instead. An insider at the FA — speaking on condition of monetary redress — told The Rockall Times: "Fergie has told us to leave off Roy, so we're going for the next best thing — the dog." Keane has refused to comment on the latest twist in this saga beyond muttering "take you all on" and "fecking eejits" and kicking a Norwegian journalist on the upper thigh. The dog is said to be "concerned but relaxed" about its upcoming trial.

Aye, I really didn't like the current kit on first look but I think its mint now. I'd like it a whole lot better without the sponsors logo, a whole lot better - it is that that spoils it or takes away from what is a very aesthetically appealing design (IMO). I think they were just sick of using the word mark and decided to go a different route and use the entire trade mark. It just looks a tad photoshopped right now, but the end product will do the business. The kit has grown on me, instead of partial approval, I'm all for it now.
-
The only reason I would have watched it. Still England's best player, who's never played there!!!
-
I get that feeling as well. Big Sam ready in the wings???
-
So, will the ginger cunt last till the summer???
-
Mate, that kit looks bloody ridiculous. Were you planning on wearing it to the clubs? Looks like something worn in the Tour De Farce. radical isnt it? no doubt it doesnt look one bit traditional, but the udinese jersey when viewed on a player looks really fab. and yes, you can wear that to a club..... I'll give them credit for trying something different, but it's not a proper football jersey, imo. I guess I'm not as metrosexual as yourself, mate.

Can't wait for Stevie's reaction.
