I'll support whatever Wor Flags decide to do, I'm not a fan of the forced participation ideas floating about on twitter. -

A two minute silence would be appropriate, but making people sing God save the King would too far for me. If individuals want to bring union jacks then they are welcome to. I have no strong feelings for the monarchy so will do my own thing as a mark of respect, the issue over the past days and coming weeks is that those who do care are getting outraged that others aren't showing "respect". -
Of course it's not, it's about looking down on people who dare to behave any different to you. Just like wearing a poppy, people are more interested in others not wearing them than what the poppy represents.

Call me what you want, but I think this would be awful. -
Cancelling events is utterly pointless, leaving thousands of people out of pocket for travel, hotels etc. Even worse than that are all the people who think everything (except working ofc) until the funeral.

The offside rule needs to change, if you have any part of your body level with the defender then you're onside.

2-1, sloppy from Maddison still great counter and finish.

Rugby is a pyramid? You can get promoted all the way to the Prem from the bottom. Football is also stop start, look how long it takes for someone to take a corner GK or throw in. The problem isn't VAR is how the monkeys pulling the levers are using it.
-
Disagree. It works perfectly well in other sports that are subjective (Rugby), and there is no need to not use the technology available at the top level to ensure we get the correct decisions. They need to change what the ref is shown, they should see all angles. We should hear what the ref and the VAR say to each other. I still would like the VAR ref in the stadium rather than back at some VAR HQ, but if they go the VAR HQ route then they have a pool of refs who can quickly check over a goal and see, hopefully 5 eyes are better than one?

Said this to a friend yesterday, though we'd obviously need a vertical banner for each player. My thought was to have them spread out all the way along from Leazes along east stand to the gallowgate, though you could probably fit them all on the east stand. Probably more of a long term thing once we get more player banners. -

DIdn't get the Isaak banner at kick off but did get this at half time. -
Even the angle they show the ref you can see the blatant push.

Tuchel can fuck right off, there is no foul on the keeper. Utter farce.

Seems the Geordie Maradona tag is legit. Big fan of this lad, hope he gets more game time, not sure if he would better in middle 3 or out wide.
-
With Rugby the on field ref asks for all the angles and gets to see them all. With VAR they just show one angle and thats it. If the fucking commentators can see 5 angles instantly then VAR and the ref can see them. The standard of refereeing at the game today was totally shambolic, only to be capped off by a VAR face. Surely we can just get an AI to do it instead.

Amazing what happens when you have proper coaching and a game plan.

I've been humming Gimme gimme gimme a striker from Sweden He's our number 14 and he plays in attack (could probably do better here) Gimme gimme gimme a striker from Sweden First names Alexander and his lastname's Isaak Not that it matters as it will be sung faster than the speed of light

I'm assuming Eddie will discuss players, and have a list of players he wants. Then he leaves the transfers down to others, I'd be amazed if anyone we've brought in wasn't a player he wanted.

Rob Lee though
