Some good insights into those times.

Annoying result but conversely it keeps us on our toes. Need to go into Leicester like we're facing Liverpool.
-
Couldn't give a monkeys about Ange's point tbh. He's made himself a target. Try handling that side of the job better. Spurs fans must be absolutely sick to their back teeth of him at this point. Gobshite who belongs in second rate leagues.

Meanwhile FIFA are just giving them £30m+. That club will never, ever get its comeuppance.

I'm confident we can get 5th because just recently we're either playing well and winning (Liverpool) or playing average and finding a way (Brighton, West Ham, Brentford - yeah fuck off I'm counting Brighton). That's a good place to be in. However, I'm also certain that the random vibes of the whole season will continue to the very end. E.g. Brighton being on an exceptional run and then getting twatted 3-0 at home (just one example of many cases of teams suddenly hitting the off-button).

The cup was obviously the cup. Wouldn't worry about it, Heron. -
Just catching up on the highlights. ffs that disallowed goal. Barnes rightly absolutely fuming with Isak there. sxc cross from Murphy for the first goal.

How we doing?

A nice relaxing 20 minutes to go.

He signed a three-year contract ten days after that Spurs game.

The difference there is I'm comparing how I feel about two people. Howe is obviously more successful than Rafa, to suggest otherwise would be lunacy. The poster has been 'piled on' because they're comparing the actual impact of two people and suggesting it was identical which, to any sane observer, is nonsense.

The way we've worked previously is to strike if we think there's a great deal to be had, even if that position isn't an immediate priority. There's a few examples of this; Livramento is probably the biggest of all imo cos we had Trippier, Krafth and Ashby as RB options; Guehi would've been another. For that reason I can see us definitely being in the race for Delap if he's available at a competitive price.

I know people will point to Man Utd's defending but I thought that was a fucking brilliant goal from Elanga last night. He absolutely terrified them into getting a shot away for himself. Lethal attacking play, so aggressive and direct - it reminded me of Owen's against Argentina. You can see why we were after him; would have no beef at all with us investigating that move again but assume we'd be priced out.
-
At least there was a tactic. We nearly got a result in that game n'all. Given we had Elliot, Dummett, Manquillo, Aarons and Joselu in the side, maybe we should've been more gung ho.
-
Gordon pushing a man over and Schär looking at someone - and each getting three game bans - is where it's fucking stupid. However, Mr Joelinton Cássio Apolinário de Lira repenting for some cumulative foul play is - I would say - the most fair enough thing that's ever happened in the history of the sport.

Forest have third sewn up like. We've never been catching them; just happy to see Man Utd lose again. Hope they lose every game forever. Fulham defeat very handy too.

Also can people who have declared themselves In confirm with a Like. It just means we can arrange teams definitively and (more importantly) boosts my stats.

Every man and his dog will be after him if that's the case.

Absolutely adored Rafa; I probably have an even greater affection for him than even Eddie Howe tbh. That's not a slight on Howe, I love him and wouldn't swap him for anyone, but the context is what elevates Rafa for me. His 'difference' is what puts him on a pedestal for me, whereas Howe is a very well-fitting component in a slick operation. Rafa was a rare beam of light in an otherwise dark, dark time; a figure of ambition and excellence in a sea of contentment and incompetence. It meant the world to me to have someone like him cut through all the gaslighting, and everything else that characterised the Ashley era. We also weren't a bad side under him. He got a tune out of a very mixed bag of players. I don't know how tangible his role in the takeover was but, at the very least, if he didn't get us promoted that year then I'd put good money on us not being where we are now.

That's brilliant news. Didn't look good at all in that England game.

Ah. That would've been cool.

Would lose respect for anyone who'd want to go and be subservient to Levy.
