Would be more than what we had this season!
-
You sure found that link pretty quick.

Surely not! It'll be black shorts - that's why. We always do it, just so we can bring out a third strip. $$$ Sounds nice though does that. Makes sense aswell, what with the pale blue trim on the home top.

Would be a good way to introduce the new Harry Potter crest... Anyone reckons we will table a bid for Woodgate in January then? Makes you wonder how much they've actually got in the kitty. They've splashed nearly £7m on Woodgate, and will need Viduka replacing - and maybe even Yakubu. Then they've got to start actually strengthening the squad, having had to spend cash on just maintaining the size. I reckon they'll struggle next year. You see, whenever you make these bold proclamations now, I just instantly doubt you. So that'll be Boro for the title then. Allardyce is shit and we'll go nowhere with him - put my house on it.

That's a toughie... he doesn't do that one. I'd hazard a guess at orange or yellow, but honestly wouldn't know that one. http://www.stefancorda.co.uk/Pages/Vintage.htm EDIT: They were formed from 'Wanderers' so i'd like to re-do my guess and say pink and blue halves?

That's a new and a quite good excuse actually... He is working on several projects for the National Museum in Preston, which includes a vintage Subbuteo range that he has developed, displaying several football teams in their pre-1900 days. Not an excuse... fact.
-
Wouldn't be a shame if Boro went down. They're a manky club and it's not even a rivalry. Would love to see them collapse next season.
-
Well yes, but my father owns a football manufacturing business and his vintage range covers several of these types of areas.

I mean come on. The home strip just simply isn't a kit. Take away the sponsors and you're looking at something from the 1900's. It's just not a football kit. The dark one has the same material as Alan Johnson's robe and the yellow one looks like my s*** after i've had citrous fruit juice. I think that's the idea with it being Spurs 125th anniversary year... Possibly, but they need to do their homework in that case. The first ever Tottenham Hotspur kit was all navy blue, and the only time Spurs have ever worn a white shirt with white shorts as their official home kit, was in 1985. [/smartarse]

That'll sure em up. Seriously though... Leacock? Tyrone Mears? Jesus Christ - shocking!

Tell you what, when Derby fade into their moments of pace - their one touch attacking play is absolutely superb. I'm a big fan of Pearson down the left wing, i thought he was key tonight. Constantly bombing up and down and gave Southampton a really rough time. Oakley was invisible tonight though, which was a shame - because he's usually a key player whenever Derby are playing well. Christ, they need a new defense though if they're going to survive in the Premiership. Their organisation at the back is pitiful.
-
Fantastic! Have a soft spot for Derby, big time... half the family are Newcastle - the other half is Derby. Great stuff!

If he hangs onto Bramble i'll be disappointed. Understand, but disappointed. Same goes for many - but Bramble is the primary one. Luque - i'm not entirely sure. He's been mistreated at this club; he has undoubted quality, though he's never utilised it. Yep - the attitude problems have been there for all to see, but like Sam said, it's a clean slate for everybody. And what's ironic is that Luque made a name for himself at Deportivo, on the left of a 4-3-3. As i've said.

That's the main thing for me... I honestly can't see anyone willing to pay double figures for him yet. Besides, i don't think Owen necassarily wants out yet, now that we're on the up. I have a feeling Sam will put it right! I think at the very least, Owen will use us the coming season as an attempted stepping stone. At the very least.

Do what we can to hang on to one of the finest finishers on the planet.

hehe yeah bit silly....but i guess not.... So funny because he is right, but it's just one of the things you can't really say. Why? Don't get me wrong, we all agree and he's 100% right, but you don't slag your team mates off to the media. Won't matter if they're gonna fuck off anyway.

I don't think Harper's a particularly brilliant keeper, and he's certainly deteriorated playing-wise - but for me, he does come across as someone who is vital to a good dressing room. On the few occassions that i have heard him speak to the media, whether it be on Look North or Newcastle World or whatever, he comes across as a stand up guy and speaks very, very well. I know - the old Geordie cliche, i'm not a fan of it - but Harper is someone who has been here for his entire career and he does know what it is all about. I reckon he'd be one of those crucial factors of Sam's bedding in, simply because of who he is.

White kits with coloured collars look so much better. I quite liked AC Milan's away kit of a few years ago, stripey black and red collars on white. Prime example! I've got that shirt.

White kits can either look really smart, or sinfully boring. Spurs' is an example of one of the unbelievably, painfully, dreadful and boring kits. Whereas that PSV one looks fairly smart. The collars do look good.
