It was all a scheme. I knew i'd jinx it if i said he's stay. Nice try. You've all got me to thank, to be perfectly honest.

It pisses people like you off. It doesn't actually, i just wondered. What exactly is gained from it? No idea. Which thread were you alluding to? The one that HTT just posted the results up from. It's the one on the main site.

Can someone please explain to me what is achieved from an option of 'undecided' in a poll?

I must have seen about eight different spellings of Allardyce since Saturday evening.
-
Aye but Roeder's gone so piss off. I sense the disappointment.
-
Not a done deal yet.

He had a lot of potential, and still does, but he's obviously not the finished article. Yet. Never even said that tbh. I said: Last season ... at the very top of his game ... he was immense. No mention of Messi or anything. Unstoppable you said. Cristiano Ronaldo isn't unstoppable. I'd can understang retracting that. But everything else i said, i stand by.

Zoggy on form last season - was like no winger i've ever seen play for Newcastle. Granted, i haven't seen as many as most, but at the very top of his game - he was unstoppable. And that isn't an exaggeration, that's simply what he was. No one could handle him down that left hand side, he was immense. Roeder fucking crucified him, and if there's anything i would go as much to loathe Roeder for - it'd be this. That's just a glimpse of what we've thrown away. People might slate someone for saying this, but it's probably true, cos he did just look that good: but he could have been one of the greatest foreign players ever to play for us.
-
TBH, most thought it was a good signing for the money, but the mutual feeling was that there really wasn't that much point, and people feared for Zog's future. And guess what!
-
No he wasn't injured, he only got injured after the season started. We had Milner who is quite capable of playing on the left, while Dyer or Solano could then take over on the right. Meanwhile we had 1 defender with potential and a trio of CM's who can't make a good pairing between them. So a LW was the priority? I'd say it was more of the case when quality had become available, I think most people at the time said that and I was one of them I won't lie. That's only cos you're stupid tbh. And Duff is quality? Eh? Considering he's won 2 PL titles, I'd say he was better than a 19 year old who's done fuck all. Duff was hardly instrumental in Chelsea's second season.

Do all Bolton fans treat him like Judas, then?
-
Personally, i think Milner would work in the position that Parker is in, in this formation: But... Gudjohnsen CF? My Lord. You know, he actually played where Emre is most of the time for Chelsea, when that formation was used.
-
Safe to say that none of us know... but DAMN it'll be exciting if Sam does come in.
-
Aye, if Sam does come here, i think Ben Haim might be a likely signing... Wouldn't turn my nose up either!

1. Given - Top class goalkeeper, keep. 2. Carr - Not good enough, not for regular first team football anyway, sell. 4. Solano - Good player, keep. 5. Emre - Good player, potentially great player, keep. 7. Luque - Waster, sell. 8. Dyer - Enigmatic, but if we want to win things, we want the likes of Dyer in the squad, keep. 9. Martins - Good player, potentiallly brilliant player, keep. 10. Owen - World class, keep. 11. Duff - Not great but we'll have to hold onto him, he might come good anyway, keep. 12. Harper - Decent enough back-up, keep. 14. N'Zogbia - Given up on him under Roeder, but he really could be brilliant for us, keep. 15. Onyewu - Shite, sell. 16. Milner - Player of the season, keep. 17. Parker - Good player to have in the squad, keep. 18. Moore - Who? Sell. 19. Bramble - Please God, sell. 20. Sibierski - No harm in keeping him on i suppose, keep. 22. Butt - Good player, keep. 23. Ameobi - Good player, will probably be very important, keep. 24. Srnicek - Jesus Wept, sell. 26. Ramage - Might aswell see what the new manager can do with him, but don't hold hope, keep. 27. Taylor - Good player, potentially great player, keep. 30. Edgar - Got potential, keep. 32. Huntington - Got potential, keep. 33. Babayaro - Should keep him because we can't be doing with buying two left-backs, keep. 34. Bernard - Fuck me, sell. 35. Pattison - No idea how he ever made it this far, sell. 37. O'Brien - Would like to see more of him tbh, keep. 39. Carroll - Got potential, keep. 40. Krul - Got potential, keep. So - i'm selling: Carr, Luque, Onyewu, Moore, Bramble, Srnicek, Bernard, Pattison We have to think about the squad size - we can't be geting rid of every man and his dog. If we boot them lot, and bring in five good players, we'll have a good squad - no doubt. When you think of it, we're only really losing about three players there, cos Luque, Moore, Pav, Bernard and Pattison never play. Carr is the only one i'm in two minds over. I've said this before - i reckon he's steady, and i think he can fill in at times. I'm more than happy to see Nobby installed as the official right-back, i think he's good enough, but by getting rid of Carr - we lose any alternative, other than Taylor or Ramage. We could cause ourselves a needless problem. Therefore, i'd be looking to bring in: Two centre-backs, atleast. One left-back One midfielder, preferably versatile* One striker The midfielder we need needs to be a right-winger/centre-mid. I think Gera's available on a free. Might be worth a shout. However, my preferences would be: Sylvain Distin - Free Luisao - £6-8m Leighton Baines - £6-8m Giles Barnes - £3-5m Mark Viduka - Free

"Championay" Eurgh.....

I honestly don't know how anyone can 'expect' any particular standing in cups to come. It's completely random, at this stage atleast, how well we do. However, i'd like to see us give the Carling Cup a real go - like we did this season, because we could do well. We were unfortunate against Chelsea.
-
I'd probably say Top 8, however - if we finish anywhere in the top half (providing we've constantly been in the running for Europe), i'd be happy. That would be progress, without a shadow of a doubt. So bascially, i just want to see us have a realistic chancew of getting Europe - kinda like Spurs/Pompey. They might not get into Europe (Spurs probably will), but they've given it a damned good go. So my answer is: Top 10, having had a good chance of Europe

Aye, West Brom. Villa, Brum and West Brom all in the Premiership. Yuk.

Isn't like half the academy getting slayed?
