  1. I remember that one but have absolutely zero collection of us playing and beating them in 2020/21, under Bruce. Match thread had 12 pages. So it's actually ten times in my lifetime.
  2. Be the ninth time in my lifetime that we've played Blackburn in a domestic cup.
  3. It's definitely not an easy draw for ManU away to Forest, like, assuming that happens. They lost there just a short while ago. Man City's is an easy draw because almost everything is an easy draw for them.
  4. Wouldn't rule out Wrexham, mind. They're still full of momentum and Blackburn are shite this season; concede goals like no one's business.
  5. Shame for Maidstone but at least they'll get TV cash again.
  6. Can't complain but really wanted to go. Great chance of the quarters.
  7. Would obviously take Maidstone but I just want something low key at home with a bit less jeopardy. Leeds/Plymouth or Watford/Southampton or Luton or Blackburn.
  8. Such a boring TV pick. Let's all watch the home side slog their way to a 3-0 victory against a ten man defence in front of a bored crowd. Thought ours was a shite pick too fwiw.
  9. Klopp seemingly now irritated by Gabriel Clarke's line of questioning about his obviously newsworthy me-me-me shit from midweek. Such a bellend.
  10. Show us the undesirable scenes, go on.
  11. I think some activity is more likely than no activity. We've bleated on about our difficulties every single transfer window and ultimately done something in the end. I get FFP is more of a restriction now than when we've publicly bemoaned it previously, but I still wouldn't be surprised if it was none out one in. Plus Almiron and Lascelles not featuring yesterday just feels a bit writing-on-the-wall-y.

    Alan Shearer

Was a brilliant moment when the cameras picked him up whilst the fans were serenading him.
  13. It'll be difficult but we can have confidence. Good win tonight, good defensive performance, looking a bit sharper than usual in the later stages. A good result is more than attainable.
  14. Love him. Said it earlier in the week before we knew for sure but it's fantastic to see such loyalty. Good for him and good for us. Fuck how mint would it be if we won the cup, man? These lads deserve a picture with a trophy.
  15. I think it's incredibly ominous that he wasn't involved at all. He's constantly around the squad and 'illness' is as convenient as it gets when the player's linked with a move away. Wouldn't blame anyone for putting two and two together here, like.
  16. He made some poor choices tonight but at one point, late on, he received a pass from a throw-in and no-look volleyed it almost completely behind him to Miley's feet in the centre circle. He's hilariously good, but a bit of an off-night, granted.

    Dan Burn

I feel like once a month I learn of another team this big beautiful bastard has represented.
  18. You'll always get in behind him but we prepare for that with our CBs. He was bodychecking all over the shop and made sure crosses from the left went nowhere. And scored. Great performance.
  19. Away win, clean sheet, goals for the Geordie boys, fifth round of the cup, big clubs falling, players returning from injury, Trippier staying... All ruined by Hall not featuring in injury time.
  20. What a stonking win that is. Fucking love these lads. Now come on, man. Have we not earned at least a home draw?
  21. People were slagging Burn off when I came in the thread. He's been fucking mint.
