  1. The media jizzfest over Thierry Henry and Wayne Rooney. Commentators/pundits cream themselves if either player scores a simple tap in and cry out for it to be goal of the month or season just because it's them
  2. sorry mate, Korea just scored
  3. 0-1 to Portugal (Simao)
  4. the predictable 'whatta goal' by footie commentators. Can they not think of something more imaginative ffs
  5. and a diving cheating ba$tard too As for papers that contradict each other: look no further than the Journal and Chronicle despite them being in the same building
  6. Can't be as boring as Northern Ireland vs Wales. I'm about to fall asleep here. that would be a dilemma. Watch Wales vs N.Ireland? or Brazil vs Portugal?. I think Soccer Master got lucky
  7. as long as our players come away injury free I couldn't give a toss
  8. ta, ridiculous this game isn't on tv here.

  13. Agreed.....besides FFF only wants people who 'understands the passion of the north east and NUFC'
  14. a bit like us, Real don't like to keep half decent defenders when they get them
  15. quite spot on by Farrington. Hopefully he can apply the same for his transfer rumour exclusives that turn out to be woefully inaccurate

  18. the head of the Italian FA has called for a 1 year ban on Italian football to sort this out. I think this means we have first dibs on Nesta, Gattuso, Pirlo, Kaka and co http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/sport/football.html?in_article_id=433657&in_page_id=1779

    Gooch

For such a big man, he looked a tad lightweight in the air. Not dominating at all when you would think hed be, bit like the Shola syndrome, can't jump, rubbish in the air despite being 6'2

he's out of contract with Liege ,so I'm sure they would've stipulated in the contract that we pay a fee if we sign him in the summer on a permanent basis Not correct. Standard gave him his transfer to Newcastle and they renewed his contract untill 2009 so they receive a fee when it gets permanent. But Standard promised to work on a transfer for him at the end of the season, so he can leave for a reasonable fee. interesting, I stand corrected then

totally agree even if he just turns out to be average would keep him as a squad player with brambles future in his own hands and moore really wanting to leave gooch is only 24 so there is plenty of seasons left in him. better than offering Bambi a new contract on 30k a week or whatever he's been on

  23. These hooligans are nowt compared to the Argentines. They're fkin lunatics over there and there is always violence, even deaths......it's just like going back to the 80's and the Argies still have the 80's hair styles, poofs Loads of clips on youtube
  24. Unless Portsmouth/Totenham/West Ham sign all our players we aint getting that much. We Bought Emre and Parker for less than a combined fee of £9M. Have they done anything to increase their value? Parker seems to still be very highly rated by pundits and the like, even though they don't see most of our games. I'm sure we could get our money back or maybe more if he was put on the market Same for Emre (weren't Bayern interested before?)
