The players we have fit into easily definable categories... Too weak, small, skinny, foreign/gay/hair obsession, bad engine: Cabella. Anita, Perez, Bigi.. Thick/English/Crap/cheap/Club development sqaud: Taylor, Raylor, Sailor, Willo, Collback, Elliot, Dummet, Amandagobi...etc Permacrocks who might turn a profit: Cisse, One Lung, Haidara, Aarons, Ferrera, Santon, etc... Proper stepping stone: Cabaye, Debuchy, Sissoko, Janmaat. Cunts who have been crap for ages we can't shift: Guti, Collo, Tiote.

Yeah you can see Sissoko thinking fuck it I'm going to have to take the whole team on...

And in the rare occasions they make themselves available they are static or moving towards our goal when receiving the ball. Never in a positive movement towards the opposition. Yup there are certain situations that happen during a game over and over again and a good coach normally models or formats positional awareness to deal with these. From the practice ground players should know where their team mates will be in different areas or phases of the game and also have alternatives this smooths the possession play and rids the need for panic or bad passes. This kind of thinking is light years away for us. Look how solid Chelsea are, how drilled and the huge amount of discipline...Man Utd have some of that but are often negative on the ball and don't transition dangerously as say Arsenal do. Spurs are normally all over the place but somehow magic goalscoring chances just by players over and over again making the same runs. The key is continuity - the teams struggling at the bottom don't have it. It is about systems and they have a major impact along with player quality...Every time Pulis imposes his system on a side they start winning and mostly that takes a couple of months.

Simple things like players making themselves available is practically non-existent in our games. We play a kind of pinball/potluck football most of the time with little hoofs or chips into general areas.

English football (English players, managers and coaches) are about 15 yrs behind the rest of Europe. Only time English teams compete these days in Europe is if nearly the whole team are foreign with a foreign coach.

It would be a very positive branding and sponsorship story and I'd wager we'd have funding offers. I'd be up for it.

He hasn't been contacted. It's illegal without permission from his club...Nowhere have I seen a quote from him or his club that we've asked to speak to him. Secondly he'll never come here. He'd demand a fair amount of autonomy and transfer money guarantees. Not going to happen. Our manager if we ever get rid of Carver will be some unknown happy to get a crack at the PL.
-
He hasn't even been contacted. It's just rumours they put out to make it look like they are doing something.
-
0-4 if we're lucky.
-
You'd have to question the sanity of anyone wanting the job in our current state.
-
It strikes me that Carver might be mentally ill. There's delusion and then there's psychosis....
-
Someone needs to dub that in Geordelees and it's probably word for word how Carver carries on.
-
Paul Ince levels of game insight. Carver is basically a white version...All faux aggression and a mountain of coaching ego based on nothing.
-
Yep Carver and crew are on peanuts, it won't cost much at all to get rid of them.
-
I reckon he won't be in charge for the next game.
-
What did they say? That they can never remember a manager previously making such a 'slanderous' claim against one of his own players, how the dressing rooms obviously lost, how Carver "being a fan" is all he goes on about and its not good enough. Be interesting to see how Williamson feels today, etc. About McClaren - just that he may be appointed today so god knows. Cheers. The financial ramifications for Ashley of turfing Carver et al out and replacing them pales in comparison to the ££££££ lost if we go down. Ashley is utterly clueless though so fuck knows what will happen. It isn't cause the coaching staff are on peanuts.

His reputation? ie bald ginger -faux Dutch accent - muppet? Aye it's all downhill from there.

The ginge community always know what each other are upto.

Who is not a bad manager. He's got a bit of bravado and that's about it. Even that comes from a defence mechanism built around years of shitness.
-
Listen chipmunks. Be grateful for small mercies.

"Bring Armstrong on...He's err..Top scorer in the...err...Academy! /Surreal.

Leicester playing total football.

A nice pasting 4 or 5 nil would be ideal.

Weird seeing Chica in a RM shirt.

He won't play for peanuts. He's already gone in his head.
