isn't it the people who accept bribes for votes that 'don't help' ? Obviously. But all the accusations etc that got leaked by our own press did not help. If they've been bribed, it wouldn't matter what the press said. -

Fuck sake. -
We've done well at our 1.30 Sunday kick offs this year, only loss has been that horrible one against City. We've got 10/15 points from them, and that's including games against Arsenal and Chelsea, with a goal difference of +10. Let's keep it up
-
Did they field a full strength team tonight?
-
Remember the opening game of last season at their place? How many of us did fall back in love with the sport and NUFC after a few years of growing disappointments and apathy?
-
So then Kaizero, is it as freezing fucking cold in Trondheim as it is in Stockholm? We're at -12 here at the moment, suppose it's even colder up there? What's the situation in the group? Might fancy a double with RBK and draw in the brummie derby.

Doesn't Russia span like 8 time zones? Going to be a nightmare keeping track of what time the games are on. -
You can add Elmander to that list as well. And Samir. Who'd written him off? At least to the extent that Elmander and Bale was written off about this time last year. IIRC he had been out injured for pretty much the entire season up to this point, but when he did play he looked canny.

Lost quite a bit yesterday as Madrid failed to score. Anyone putting any bets on for the cup games today?
-
Hoping for a mixed team personally. About half the team first teamers, the rest youngsters. Would really like to see Tiote and Vuckic at CM. Obviously depending on our injury situation and form by then as well of course.
-
Real Madrid needed him more tonight, as they couldn't keep possession he would have been someone they could have hoofed it to. He would have done more for them than Benzema did.

That's what folk said about George Foreman, nobody can go toe-to-toe. There's always an Ali out there, someone who can take the punches and deliver one right when it matters. Probably a Lampard + Essien driven Chelsea, if anyone. But the chances are slim. Inter?

That could be alright I suppose for blatant cases such as today's where the ref and linesmen clearly weren't fooled by that idiotic dive. I think it can be a subjective decision made by the ref the same as decisions about intent, time-wasting and deliberate handball, etc... It's one thing for the game to change through evolution and it's another when it can change due to protection given to cheating (or rather, lack of persecution thereof) If Drogba's dive today was so obvious, why wasn't he booked? The referee is too shit scared to make such a decision. It was a horrible decision not to book him, couldn't believe it. Same goes for Chamakh against Enrique btw.
-
Today when Drogba took a dive, what he did was trying to cheat to get one of our players sent off. Had it worked, we would have been a man down for a big part of the game, and if it doesn't work, the worst thing that could happen to him with the current laws of the game would be a yellow card, which for a striker isn't much of a punishment at all. If we want to get rid of this behaviour in football (I'm not sure FIFA/FA do, or more action would be taken), we need harsher punishment for these cunts. Yellow card if it's not in the penalty area or you're trying to get the player sent off for denying a clear goalscoring opportunity, red if it's in the penalty area or trying to get the player sent off for denying a clear goalscoring opportunity.
-
I'd rather Drogba gets done for his blatant attempt at cheating.
-
I don't get it.
-
Agree with this.
-
Ridiculous how he's become this good. Keep it up Andy
-
Hilarious how much my old man hates him like. Even when he does something good, he still claims the pass was too weak or that it was too much bounce on it or something like that
-
Been very good today, keep it up lad Always said he's a better player than his form earlier in the season showed.
