Yellow football boots - awful He's got great feet - obviously - he's a pro footballer! Mike Parry(Talksport) & his Wayne Rooney love affair Frank Lampard Jonathan Pearce and his love affair with Arsenal David Pleat changing a players name every time he mentions it Fulhams ground - looks like its made of Lego All things Tottenham Music after goals The constant media hype that surrounds the completely over rated England team - England are NOT world class JOhn Motson's voice - ohhhhhhhhhhh what do you make of that Mark The sign on the ground as the players come out at West Ham, that says something stupid like 'welcome to the academy of football' - f**k off your s**t! Graham Poll thinking he's the main attraction

Agreed, Fabregas for me, he can be a cocky little fucker, but he's so talented. If I was to choose other, It would be David Villa, would score goals wherever he played. (and he's one of my favourite players!)

Agree completely. Just another money making exercise

The unsung heroes of the Premiership (my top 10) - how about yours?

Unsung Players: Abdoulaye Faye (Bolton) The guy is a monster, hardly ever see anyone get the better of him. Brian McBride (Fulham) Always a threat, always gives the side 110%, and scores a fair few goals. Linvoy Primus (Portsmouth) Solid alongside Campbell, Redknapp really gets the very best out of him. Mathieu Flamini (Arsenal) Fits into the side in all kinds of positions, and always plays well. I really rate Arteta & Gamst-Pedersen, but to me they are not unsung, whenever their teams are mentioned, they are the players immediately talked about, so for me they are not unsung heroes. -
Agree, and it looks as if he's leaving Pompey on loan today

Luque, one of the top 6 players in Spain?!
-
Carroll Carr .. Spector .. Diawara .. Jordan Stewart Tommy Smith .. Faye .. Gavin Mahon .. Etherington Harewood .. Henderson

Absofuckinlutely agree! He is shocking, and so over rated, no tricks, no pace, no end product, just utter rubbish!
-
He's 6ft 4" and built like a heavyweight boxer

Jose heard the original and got the fella to perform in front of all the players a while back.

Source: skysports.com/football West Ham are in talks with Arsenal's Lauren, skysports.com can confirm. The Cameroon defender has been told by Arsene Wenger that he can leave Emirates Stadium. Lauren is out of contract in the summer and is unlikely to be offered fresh terms with Emmanuel Eboue now firmly established as first choice right-back under Wenger. Lauren has long been linked with a move back to Spain where he first forged his European career - before joining Arsenal in 2000 Hammers boss Alan Curbishley wants to overhaul his squad and only has a short space of time to do so - and an experienced Premiership campaigner like Lauren could prove a valuable acquisition. Lauren is yet to play a game this season after only just returning to training last month after nearly a year on the sidelines with a knee injury Would be a good addition to our squad.

Anton Ferdinand is pap, and whatever happened to the already signed and sealed 6ft 4" Premiership defender that Anal Oliver exclusively revealed we had signed a few weeks back?
-
For £18m I'd expect to get the entire Charlton squad!
-
Throw in 'we've been linked with some sack of shite no one's ever heard of' on some pap website!

If you could have any starting left-back from outside of the top four...

Shorey has looked good , second choice would be Baines, third choice would be Valente, was disappointed that we made no attempt to sign him when Everton got for £1m -
It seems crazy that Mullins, who is at best a Championship footballer, is always preferred ahead of Mascherano, who has long been considered one of the best young holding midfield players in the world. Even crazier is how anyone could select Bobby Zamora, Carlton Cole, or Marlon Harewood ahead of Tevez. The few games I've seen involving West Ham this season, Tevez has looked their best player and the most dangerous. Both of them always get a fantastic reception from the West Ham supporters so it all seems very strange. I think Tevez and Ashton would be a great partnership, but doubt Tevez will be given the chance.

He should suit the Premier league, but he is a bit temperamental, I hope he settles, as I really rate him as a player, he's got loads of mad goal celebrations as well!
-
gonufc, I completely agree with you, think Volz would be a good signing, also think Bocanegra & McBride are very good and very under rated players. Hopefully for Fulham, Clint Dempsey gets his work permit, if he settles, he has enormous potential, he's very talented, very good both physically & technically, better than the poster boys Donovan & Adu! Would like to have seen us sign Dempsey, at !.5m its not that big a gamble and he can be used in a few positions.

Is he a faty? oley am not sure if hes a good player or not really, only know his name because of footy manager The Faty on FM that is quality, is Jacques Faty who plays for Rennes

Del Piero in the Juventus friendly, Kluivert when he went off to a standing ovation, and this is the one where I'll don my tin hat, Pires for Villareal in the summer, always thought he was a cheating scum bucket but when I actually watched him in the flesh, his first touch was amazing, his movement was exceptional, he never wasted a pass, was always available to receive the ball. I think Henry & Arsenal miss what he used to bring to the team. I now understand why he's so highly rated. Shame he got a serious injury at the beginning of the season.

I was more than happy with what Roeder did in his role as caretaker, and he deserved thanks/praise for that, but I didn't think he was the right choice for the job. Whilst I don't think it was the correct decision to appoint him, I will back him whilst he is the manager. I'm unsure about his transfer dealings, was thrilled to get Martins, but have never rated Duff and didn't think we needed him. At the same time, he is doing a fair job of getting some of the dead wood out of the squad, Bowyer, Faye, Boumsong. I hear people question his man-management, but he has the likes of Butt, Sibierski & Ameobi(when fit) playing above expectation, so his treatment of Luque aside, those judgements seem unfair. On that issue, Luque's non selection, is surely down to his attitude, no manager would delibrately not slect a player if he thought he could achieve something for the team. Even in Spain, Luque is at best average so I don't understand those that are in love with him! Roeder has the club in his heart and I've no doubt he is trying his best, my concern is that his best isn't quite good enough. I don't really think there were too many great alternatives to Roeder, I didn't want Martin O'Neill, his teams play awful football, don't get the whole jizzfest about Curbishley, and as we have proven in the past, big names(Gullit, Dalgleish) don't always deliver. So for me, until a better alternative becomes available, I will keep backing Roeder.

James Richards Campbell Vidic Cole Arteta Essien Gilberto Ronaldo Drogba Kanu

Parker will defo play, meaning we will play the negative 4-5-1 that doesn't work for us, leaving Martins isolated or Roeder will drop Butt to accomodate his captain. Would prefer to see Emre & Butt in the middle, and Sibierski in support of Martins, with Dyer & Milner out wide. And please give up, Luque isn't going to play, and probably won't even make the bench against Spurs.
-
I would keep: Given, Krul, Harper, Taylor, Emre, N'Zogbia, Milner, Dyer, Martins, & Owen. I would spend heavily on defensive recruits that provide plenty of options: (about 50m on defenders) Dani Alves (RB) Vanden Borre (RB / DC / DM) Mertesacker (DC) Coloccini (DR / DC) Gallas (DC / LB) Adriano (Seville left back) 2 proper midfield generals: (about 20m) Albelda Hargreaves 2 attacking midfielders/wingers: (about 20m) Arteta Vicente or Joaquin or Silva (all Valencia) 2 strikers, 1 target man, 1 squad player (between 5-7m) Mcbride, not great, but good in the air, perfect foil for Owen & Martins Benni McCarthy, good squad player Any change can be spent on coaching, medical facilities, scarves for the fans, and one way tickets out of here for Ramage, Bramble, Babayaro, Moore, Carr, Parker, Butt, Luque, Pattison, and anyone else not good enough.

Arsenal also own Carlos Vela, a mexican wonderkid, who is on loan at Salamanca. He was the star of the recent Under 17 world cup and was also top scorer. He doesn't yet qualify for a work permit, hence he is on loan in Spain, but he already has quite a reputation. He should have a Spanish passport by the end of 2007, when Arsenal will recall him.
