  1. This 100%, some of the takes on here about him are way off.
  2. Trippier, Burn, Longstaff, Miggy.......
  3. They have been open to selling him and Gundogan all summer, neither want to leave and thats the problem Barca have.
  4. Think we just need to be patient what with Paul Mitchell only arriving very recently. He has a great track record of getting to grips with a squad and filtering out the lesser players and deadwood, and looking more closely at Monaco, he really reduced a bloated squad and was able to add some quality and high potential. I'm excited for when he starts to add players that are not currently elite level but have high potential and have every chance to get there, don't think he will be shopping for ready made superstars but looking to create our own using his contacts and Eddies coaching.
  5. Fave not best: Srnicek Debuchy Schar Colo Beresford Bruno Lee Clark Robert Lee Robert Beardsley Cole
  6. Kenedy against Cardiff was up there with the very worst displays. I loved Daryl Janmaat for most of his time here but as the thread title asks for in a match, his performance away to Swansea was disgusting, so lazy and so disinterested and sent-off for twi cheap yellows, i remember being so annoyed, id put more effort in to get there than he had his performance. And pretty much everyone who featured the evening Lascelles got sent-off at Everton and then said nobody cared. Honking evening.
  7. Malcolm Allen and Alex Mathie, both short and sweet stays.
  8. Football is so broken when a disloyal little sh*tbag is getting so many headlines and column inches. Football & Sport is about competing and trying to win, and now it's all about accountants and Dan Ashworth types, full of their own self importance. Dreadful stuff.
  9. There was a point in time where he was highly rated and had a fair reputation (early Benfica days maybe?) but based on more recent opinions of Benfica and Forest fans has clearly fallen off a cliff and isn't well regarded. Maybe he will surprise us, point to prove etc, but challenging Pope seems fanciful at best.
  10. And an unknown 17 year old from Chelsea heading the other way for 5-10m!
  11. Got an insane Chelsea transfer written all over him! Some player.
  12. Tremendous player but made of paper sadly, and Marcotti was saying the other week he’s lost confidence in his body and has lost a yard of pace. Real shame, such a talent and speaks perfect english (fun fact!).
  13. Great post. Love Miggy and really don’t get all the abuse he gets. He’s not elite but he’s decent and works so well with his graft and determination in an Eddie Howe team.
  14. Will end up at Atletico Madrid, been rumoured for a long time, they want him to replace Oblak.
  15. Meant to selling Cherki to PSG so will have funds and need a replacement.
  16. Its what Barcelona & Juventus did with Arthur & Pjanic but in that instance they heavily inflated the fees involved, clever accounting but also stinks!
  17. Italy: Christian Vieri France: Djorkaeff Spain: David Villa Holland: Sneijder Brazil: Ronaldo Argentina: Redondo Germany: Ballack
  18. Take the win but always seems to be such a difficult watch when it doesnt need to be. No left footed left back creates an obvious issue. Thought Trent was quite sloppy and casual and would prefer to see Wharton sat in there playing quick one and two touch passes, being disciplined and setting the tempo. Thought the second half was in need of Gordon on the left to inject some pace and energy and Palmer could have added some confidence/composure on the ball if he had replaced Saka instead of Bowen. Think Kane should have been replaced too, Watkins pace would perhaps have pushed the defence back a little further. Still, no doubt more of the same in a few days, Gareth shoehorning his favourites in and England stumbling on unconvincingly.
  19. Been linked to PSG for a while.
  20. Pretty reliable for all things Valencia.
  21. Not great, not one of his strongest attributes. He is very similar to Pope in many ways, big, imposing, commanding, great shot stopper and every now and again will have a rush of blood to the head, charge out of his box and give you a heart attack.
  22. Earlier in the year a mix of poor results and Tuchel and Bayern disagreeing over transfer strategy/squad quality led to them mutally agreeing to him leaving at the end of the season. Now running out of options, several key players said they wanted him to stay and Bayern opened talks with him, only for him to still disagree with the transfer strategy and confirm he is leaving.
