Nicolai Jorgensen to stay at Feyenoord
Alberto2005 replied to WarrenBartonCentrePartin's topic in Football
We really need this cunt. If we don't sign a striker we're 50/50 in terms of going down imo. -
We'd need a new fucking alphabet of targets to get that cunt to part with his money.

I think about this sometimes and since around 2009 onwards the excitement has gradually sapped out of me. Obviously I still love it but nothing like as a kid. I think it must be an age thing. I still sometimes watch old MOTD's on YT from like 1998-2000 era cause I remember as a kid been allowed to stay up to watch them from time to time and been absolutely buzzing for it Also as I type this I've just remembered teletext. 302 for football news and 303 for the scores right? I remember I'd goto 303 on a Saturday during the game every 10-15 minutes and I'd plant my face right up to my T.V at the far left and gradually move it the right to see the scores revealing.... 'Newcastle 1...YESSS......- 5 Man U' Fuckkkk. Seem to remember Liverpool always fucking beating us one season in 98/98 era.

So Benitez has a list of for e.g. A,B,C strikers he wants. If Jorgensen is too much expensive for the fat cunt why isn't he exploring the backups, obviously because not signing Jorgensen for 20m is much more acceptable than getting Sandro Ramirez on loan for a measly 2m.

I think we'll sell get Jorgensen and possibly a goalkeeper on loan. That will be that.

I'd take that if we got a striker and someone else

Nicolai Jorgensen to stay at Feyenoord

Few comments from Feyernoord fans: "Jørgensen is a great striker, but from 15 million euros I would still wonder if you should not sell him." "25 minimum. Crazy that they think that everything is cheap at Feyenoord !! We are not an amateur club without prizes and support!" -
Don't really want to sell him to a rival but if he needs to be sold to get Slimani or whoever then just do it. He's no good rotting on the bench.
-
Selling Shelvey without a replacement would be madness. Sell him once we're safe.
-
Chronicle reckon he wants a 'minimum of 4'. Yeah right Rafa Also says Dubravka could join on loan before the Chelsea game and Sandro Ramirez is a target as we wanted him in the summer.
-
Didn't feel I'd ever say this again but quite happy for him to be starting at the moment.

The Aaron Lennon link is baffling me.

Finding it hard to get angry about this tbh. All the excitement has been sapped out of me in the last month or so anyway. -

Matt Ritchie (now Technical Director at Bournemouth)
Alberto2005 replied to Fenham Mag's topic in Football
He isn't the issue. He's good enough for a team trying to stay in the league, we lack a creative midfielder and a good striker. Get those two and we stay up. -
Mawson was very good today tbf.

Newcastle United v Swansea City - 13/01/2018 @ 15:00 (no TV)
Alberto2005 replied to 54's topic in Football
Of course. Get used to it until we bring better players in (sic) Think it's a good strategy for today. They can't play for a draw so will hopefully leave us space to counter. -
Apparently, I reckon what actually happened is Ashley leaked that we interested in replacing Benitez with David Platt and the journalists mis took it for Dennis Praet as it was that unbelievable.
