  1. He's not good enough for that level anyway. It would be a stupid move. I love Cabaye to bits, but the hype surrounding him at times is a bit over board. Let him prove himself this season again and be a bit more consistent and a rumour like this would actually be justified.
  2. I can't take two more weeks of not signing anyone. Better stay away from all of this...
  3. I think he'd be a great signing. Full of potential going forward. If he signs, he'd need to buy into our mentality. If Ben Arfa could do that, surely Hoilett can. Playing away from home and hitting teams on the counter with Cabaye supporting Hoilett, Cissé and Hatem is frightening.
  4. Le Parisien saying he's agreed to stay for another season? http://www.le10sport.com/football/france/mercato/losc-debuchy-devrait-rester67529?utm_source=filinfodu10&utm_medium=twitter
  5. I really like the way we are run now. This is how football should work. Makes me sick thinking what we'd resort to under such ownership. Definite no for me.
  6. Alessandro Grandesso, France based journalist for Gazzetta dello Sport Hopefully we're talking to them now. Inter will step up their pursuit as soon as Maicon is gone.
  7. Hasn't he been absolutly s**** at Juventus? Played about 1 game.
  8. I have to say I'm all for our bargaining policy, it seems to work well with a bit of patience. However, in this case we must not be foolish enough to think his apparent interest in joining will be enough. Offer them the money he's actually worth. Quality RB at the peak of his career, it's not going to be the amount we are reported to have in mind. It would make us considerably stronger and help attract other players as it's a statement of intent.
  9. Why I don't want him anywhere near Newcastle United? The main reason is his personality and his attitude. But the list is long. I thought he had a very good attitude? Bullshit! He has a great attitude and its the main reason this guy will succeed. He is very confident in himself, but in a good way. The guy is no troublemaker. More of a energetic person who has a great effect on his team mates. would be a great asset in any dressing room. The question is if he is good enough. What I said on the last page. Commitment and mentality is exceptional. Talent is limited. Not backed up by any particular phyiscal abilities either.
  10. No it's just their word for market = transfer market in this case. No sources to suggest anything in that.
  11. Vertonghen to Spurs seems completed at last.
  12. Not sure. He has immense application and a will to succeed, just not sure whether the talent is there. He spoke for an hour on our biggest radio channel the other day. Very determined and full of confidence. No particular physical ability though and I doubt City will let him go cheap.
  13. Adam Campbell to score 5 and cause hysteria on here.

What the fuck is he doing back at Newcastle
  15. Seems like an excellent prospect. Love it when we sign youngsters, so much expectation immediately pops up
  16. With Coventry agreeing a fee for Fleck from Rangers i guess they need the money from somewhere so him going fills in that blank. He was linked a few weeks ago. Their manager confirmed our interest.
  17. Fully agree on all of that. Can't believe it's just one week away, super excited by the fact that we are moving forward as a club. This season can be brilliant if we get it right in the coming months.
  18. For what it's worth, I think Carroll would be brilliant in Italy.
  19. One of the best strikers at so many Euros, always failed to impress afterwards.

Brilliant money for him. Capable player though, excellent attitude and stepped up at vital times (WH 5-0, Fulham 2-1, QPR 1-0). Really hope he does well at Blackburn.
  23. Don't know who this guy is really, just found him yesterday. Claims to know what's going on. If these quotes are real I reckon the deal is far from dead. Richard ‏@Richard_agent82 Louis Laros, De Jongs agent: "talks went well today. We must wait and see but Luuk would love to join a club like Newcastle." #NUFC
