I may stand corrected but wasn't the bolton lad in from Arsenal on loan? That's Ryo Miyaichi.

With Ribery to come in, i'm not sure. We'll see. dont really see him as being in competition with ribery for the right sided spot. Ribery will be on the left. I reckon they'll play someon more defensive minded along Cabaye (M'Vila?) or move him up the field. I think Giroud is the main threat to Hatem at the moment, he looks unplayable. Him and Benzema and go 4-4-2 could be the way. I reckon they'll beat both of us (Sweden and England) comfortably.
-
Think he confirmed his place in the starting 11 tonight tbh. Won't stop threatening.

Matty Pattison started games, that alone leaves a sour taste. I still think 04/05 was the worst. Things just went from bad to worse. From 5th to 14th. Everyone I liked at the club were leaving. Dyer and Bellamy fought on the pitch. We signed Amdy Faye and Boumsong. Shola played right midfield.

Romain Amalfitano joins Dijon permanently for an undisclosed fee

Amalfitano arrived in Newcastle yesterday. Of course it's him. Was just wondering how Bailey knows "it's a good signing", he's probably never heard of him. -

Could it be Butterfield? -
Good player when fit. Him and Marveaux would be excellent alternatives on the wings.

Campbell's against the mackems is really good as well.

Someone who sold the match programme was a Harry Potter lookalike. He answered to "Harry, Harry give us a wave" when we tried it for the 9th time or something

http://img.thesun.co.uk/multimedia/archive/01501/PapissCisse_1501648a.jpg Of all the absolute magical moments this season, this just tops it. Somehow, I wasn't even surprised at first, it was just one of those things that would happen this season, especially with Cissé playing. Then it started to sink in what a completley insane and mad moment I had just seen. The most outrageous strike and decision I've ever seen. Also, a personal favourite moment was when Perch tackled the shit out of Suarez and Flanagan within the space of five seconds and had the two of them form a pile of Perched Liverpool players. Superb.

Couldn't believe it when he signed a new deal for them last fall. He'll be expensive for whoever takes him. I reckon a loan.
-
Not only that. Look at what a TEAM Dortmund is. Full of individual brilliance, yet they work so hard and have no big ego that runs the show. The way they've overcome the loss of Nuri Sahin makes me believe they'll have no problem overcoming the loss of Kagawa. Also, Klopp seems to love the club thoroughly. One of the brightest stories in European football over the recent years, that club.

Can't believe Downing is in there. Unbelievable.

Some seem to think Downing is in there. Good news [/sWE]

John Ruddy appears to be in, well deserved.

He would be excellent to have on board as replacement for Cissé, but if we're playing 4-3-3, I think he should be second choice in the "number 9" position, not pushed out on the left because he "has to play". If so, I'd rather he left than unsettled the team.
-
I would like us to play 4-3-3 next season, and tbh we'll be a better team with someone else at LW. Wouldn't be too bothered if he left as long as we get someone else for the money.

Are the reserves going to Hong Kong for some tournament?
-
Götze just signed a new long-term deal I think.

Rosenberg Hysen, Holmen, Svensson and Elmander? I'm all for Elmander, we haven't got better atm and he usually does well for his country. The rest, aye, depressing.
-
We will see him at the Euros Forgot all about that.

Paul Lambert appointed manager of Aston Villa

Shocking appointment, shocking season, sane decision. They've given an impression of being us in 2004/05 all season. -

Whatever club it is (apart from Liverpool), it almost becomes painful to watch a team suffer so much because of their manager. Same with Blackburn at times this season.
