  1. On the board's part, the past three seasons have been very good apart from the naming rights and lack of investment last summer.
  2. Why, man? He's a child. Would rather we just won tbh. He's 18 and seems to move more than Shola. I'd love to see him "at some point" tomorrow, for the benefit of the team rather than the romance that surrounds the hype around him (which I am very much taking to).
  3. Elliot Santon Yanga-Mbiwa Taylor Haïdara Cabaye Anita Sissoko Marveaux Shola Obertan Would be my guess. I'd honestly play Campbell either on the wing or upfront just to get some movement upfront, he seems quick. Hatem will most probably be way too short of fitness to start. Him and Campbell for Shola and Obertan around the hour mark would give us a chance if we keep it tight at the back.
  4. The movement up front with Marveaux, Shola and Jonas. My god.
  5. Adam Armstrong and Kyle Cameron in your U16 squad.
  6. It's as if they'd include Nordin Gerzic now.

The one thing that scares me is - we'll probably be able to do reasonably well with Pardew in charge, he has his qualities and they'll come through to some extent if he can pull himself and his players together next season. My worry is how much we're missing out on. This squad is exceptional in so many ways. We could be looking at some really exciting times with a really good manager in charge, which is something I'm convinced Pardew isn't after our struggles this year.
  8. Surely he can't be worse than the Norweigan retards in charge of the Metalist game at SJP.

I said not many of them have been dealt with. My point being when a team has so many problems, there's something the manager isn't doing right. Williamson and Perch were very good during the spring of last season. Williamson's shitness has coincided with several other players losing form. Who was the manager in the spring of last season? In no way is that an argument to support his handling of this campaign. He was very good last season. He deserves criticism for this season. I'm not out to judge him permanentley. Just saying, with all the problems we've had this season, in so different areas of our play, the manager has to take blame. He should have been able to identify and correct more of them. As long as you're only talking about this season then obviously Pardew deserves criticism. We have underperformed and he is the manager. I don't think many (any?) people would deny that. Some people seem as if their agenda is to find alternative explanations and liberate him from responsibility on too many issues. My point isn't that the problems are way too many for him to be excused.

Explain things whatever way you want. For me Pardew plays a big role in our demise. Cabaye's shit corners, Tioté's poor form, Jonas' decline, our lack of movement, our inability to create anything resembling a chance from set plays (300 corners in a row ffs), our inability to deal with set plays, us being Europe's number one long-ball side, Cissé losing his confidence in front of goal, Williamson suddenly turning into a complete liability. You name whatever reasons, the manager's role is to prevent them and deal with them. Not many of the above problems have been dealt with particularly well this season. I blame Pardew.
  13. Thought he played well today again, real threat. Can't wait to have HBA with him out there.
  14. All his set plays when he doesn't aim for the goal are fucking shit and have been so for the best part of a year. Change it ffs.
  15. Good performance, some good football second half as well. Unbelievably shit goal to concede, fucking Luke Moore.

  17. It's not an outrageous statement from him tbh. You lot started the comparisons.
  18. Not buying that. A bit of a diva, but how he's got a reputation for being an outright c*** I don't know. He's never really earned it.
  19. Is "always been piss poor in the air" really the right judgement of a CB who was selected for PFA Team of the Year 10 months ago? It's not his best area. He is not piss poor. Wins a fair few.
  20. f*** Newcastle United FC ‏@NUFCOfficial Pardew has also revealed that Hatem Ben Arfa is unlikely to be considered for trip to the Liberty Stadium as he's not yet fully fit #NUFC
