Springsteen is still doing 3 hour gigs at 66, man. Kev could manage a team for a few more years yet, he's looked after himself.
-
Absolutely spot on two fucking years ago. Far, far too late. Have they just noticed Pardew is all about stopping the opposition?

zzzzzzzz. TBH. more and likely lies but you never know it seems to be the same person who said about hba being sent to france.. -
Starting to get the impression that this guy might not be up to the job.
-
It's almost as if you're trying to say that we're shit, and it's his fault.
-
May as well change the thread title to unwanted records as well?
-
Yeah but that's ALL because Cabaye's gone.
-
Yeah, I'm fine with this.
-
His main priority is someone that won't give him any stick in private or public, I honestly think that's more important to him than wages.
-
Why is a high wage such a barrier for a manager coming here? Surely it would be compensated for by reducing transfer spend?
-
I wouldn't accept either because they are failures in English football. If they haven't succeeded here what does that tell you about their standing beyond some second rate club in London and a flop in Manchester? wot?
-
Clause in the contract that stated he only gets a years wages if they fail to qualify for CL, apparently. Timing makes sense now.
-
I fucking hate Pardew, like. I don't think I wish him any harm, think there's been a few harsh posts along those lines over the past few days. But I know one thing for sure. We're shit, it's his fault.
-
I would take Sherwood just out of a need for change. I'd take Moyes because he's proven to be a very good manager.
-
True enough, in which case the correct response from genuine Newcastle fans should be to call for the head of Pardew now, and then start a campaign against the next stooge if and when he is installed. Ashley will only persist if he's allowed to get away with it. A sustained campaign against the club itself is the only way to shift Ashley for good.
-
Oh it does.... 4) Must not finish higher than 8th place 5) Must try to go out of cup competition at earliest round/opportunity Yeah that's very true actually, you could sort of fit that into number 3. Or, change it to 'must always do as he's told'.
-
Unfortunately, as we all know, Ashley's list of priorities when hiring a manager looks like this: 1) Must not try to interfere with transfer decision making 2) Must not criticise me in the press 3) Must always promote my way of doing things as the best NUFC can hope for That's it, football doesn't really come into it. By the way, for anyone looking for proof of how I could possibly know this:
-
Yeah, I'd forgotten about this tbh.
-
Why are we even discussing Sherwood? How about hiring a proper manager for one of the biggest clubs in the world? We've become the fan version of Reek from Game of Thrones, with Ashley as Lord Roose Bolton. I'm not sure - but you've just done the same thing again.
