Btw, did anyone else notice that Anita was marking Huddlestone on a corner in the first half? -

Not just this season mate, all of them until they're gone. -

It's bemusing watching you flit backwards and forwards between embracing Pardew for that he is and blind faith. -
Still looks like a player who doesn't want to be here, which is an opinion that was widely ridiculed on here during the summer.
-
It's unbelievably irritating and a recurring theme of a Pardew team that's chasing the game. He should have stamped that out ages ago. It's not been too evident so far this season, for me. I'm not looking at this season in isolation, I'm not sure why anyone would. I'm judging Pardew on the way the team's played since he came here.
-
They were good, and contributed to what I thought was a decent match. I've watched too much Pardew football to let him off the hook because the other team looked motivated and organised though. We were at home to Hull, organisation is the least we should expect, whether we've got the ball or they have. We're clueless on the ball, still.

I missed the Villa game. So far all I'm seeing this season is the same bunch of players looking like individuals. We're still just a below average team + Ben Arfa, nowt's changed. The amount of lofted diagonal passes to the front line today was appalling. It doesn't work.

He doesn't even know you exist, mind. Sick burn. Bet Mick's gutted.
-
That's a lovely team we've got out like, lovely,
-
Just got out and attack them with the 4-3-3 and we'll win, surely.

There's been relevant mitigating factors people are happy to ignore so it's a pointless debate. Some people are almost upset he might be on his way to proving them wrong. Bitter-sweet for the boo boys... I think you'll find a lot of the 'boo-boys' don't form a new opinion after every single result. I would say everyone is happy he got it right today and I'm not seeing any evidence to contradict that so actually it would seem you are the one desperate to be proven right. This is the key imo. I didn't see the match but it sounds like we deserved the win and credit has to go to Pardew for that. Let's just see how the next few games go before we start making any grand gestures. Looking at games in isolation doesn't tell you much about how well a manager is doing his job imo.

I'm considering being offended by that quote. I know all managers talk about overdrafts, so that's fine. Can I enquire as to the tone of voice in which the words were spoken? Then I can make an informed decision,
-
Is he being told not to do too much though? Tiote should know exactly what's required of him and he should be taken off immediately if he continues to overplay, I'd fine him every time he shoots for a start.

Ossie Ardiles is on 5Live now. Talking about how managing in the Premier League is all about the fear of losing your job, leading to too many teams just getting everyone behind the ball.

I don't know what form any protest should take, but obviously people are angry and feel they need to do something. IMO a boycott of the cup game would only scratch the surface financially, and we all know we won't stay away should we somehow reach the interesting stages, quarter finals onwards, and there'll be nearer a full house than in the Leeds game. Suggesting a boycoutt against a club like Leeds, who will bring 6,000 fans with them and would love to be in the position we are in, is pretty embarrassing really. I had already made the decision to boycott the Leeds game, yes it probably will barely scratch the surface but got to the point where something needs to happen. You can't boycott a league game as he already has the season ticket money and while gate money isn't a major factor in clubs finances the empty seats and realisation of the anger of the fans may just show him what he could be facing next season when people don't renew. As it happens the fans who went to the meeting yesterday aren't very happy with the Chronicles report as boycotting the game was never mentioned in the meeting. You can just cancel your direct debit and not give them any more money while he's there, it's not rocket science. Unless you've paid upfront in full I suppose.

Not until the 21st at the earliest. Fucking hell man, ask someone a direct question and two people give me info I can get from the Fantasy League website

Aye, that's great

Aye thought that too, interesting to see how much time Willian gets.
