stupid, absolutely stupid. its shit like this, and things like booking players for taking their shirts off/going to celebrate with their own fans thats stripping the game of what little passion it has left. if you dont want to broadcast grown men swearing, dont point cameras at them when they're doing something highly emotional. -
What I love is that even the none Newcastle supporting posters on this forum can see how retarded Sunderland fans are was chatting recently to someone who's from down south and has lived in sunderland for a while. without any provocation from me whatsoever he started talking about how lads come to the sites he does security on and throw rocks at the dogs, threaten him etc. now obviously that sort of behaviour isnt limited to sunderland only, but he did mention that 'they're all fucking inbred down there you know'.

given that money is tight, it should really be spent on people with decent fitness records.

Who do you think is going down, and who is coming up?
Dr Venkman replied to Stifler's topic in Football
i'm not even sure i'd want the mackems to go down tbh, minimum 4 points a season for us with them around -
mate, gob-smacked. he's awful As far as goals-to-starts go, his record is just shorter than one and two. Make him the big fish he (clearly) so desperately needs to be, and i reckon he'll shine. He's a good player - never, ever awful. Plus he works as a target man, which will be very useful if Ben Arfa is being deployed in Nolan's hole. ok, perhaps not awful. he reminds me a bit of martins with the constant flicks that never work, ameobi in looking uncoordinated and someone like zoltan gera in occasionally smashing in a beauty. i certainly wouldnt want to build a team around him like, that might just be prejudice but its based on watching him and thinking he's just not that good. Agree to disagree with you. I think he's technically good and he's always scored goals. Was class up here in the Carling Cup earlier in the season, but it's not that much of testimony, i'll concede. Personally think Bendtner and Ben Arfa sounds pretty mouth-watering. Atleast Barton would have something to consistently aim for again. fair enough man, its just one of those things. i've spent so long laughing at him it'd take an almighty effort to think it was a good signing.

aye fuck that like, shouldnt be bringing him in permanently

real shame nolan's out for this, hope he's around to remind everyone of how fucking bent everyone at villa was when we went down

That's the kind of logic I like to see. Been a lack of that sort of thinking around NUFC forums recently. with the lack of money we've spent these are the teams we should be losing against?
-
its still a bit mental that he even plays for us tbh
-
Never mind the Arsenal game, they should release a DVD of that! do sky still do that player cam? was never interested but i'd watch a ben arfa v everton 90 mins like!
-
unfortunately i think houllier's better than that, unlike bruce
-
The very idea of these two on the pitch together is the most exciting thing that's happened to this club for a long time. was just thinking that, we'll be class 2 out of 3 weeks when tiote's not suspended!

i would dearly love to stick it up these wankers like

the transformation is complete, a while ago i couldnt bear watching him play for us, now he's pretty much my favourite player and i'd be gutted if he left any time soon, makes a massive difference to our team
-
holy shit, is he back in training this week like?
-
Would we be a better team/squad with or without those players? Where will HBA be playing season after next if he realises his potential and puts himself in the shop window? Well we would be better, but that's not really the point. Sometimes you either can't keep a player or at the time it seems like a good move to sell them. and there you have it. Have what? if being a better team isnt the point? what is?

Nah. Actually, despite the fact that I've stated many times of my hatred for Ashley, if you think Pardew is ok, don't really rate Hughton, think the Carroll situation was a decent deal and don't grab your pitchfork and run to the steps of SJP every day screaming "YOU FAT COCKNEY b******" then you're an Ashley sympathiser. Or even better, part of his fan club. or if you pipe up making devils advocate type comments that more often than not are in favour of ashley in every thread, like you do. you only get called things like ashley sympathiser because of that mate, i dont understand the constant denial Sorry, I forgot you know my opinion better than I do. God isn't Ashley great. Go Ashley. Ian W, i absolutely agree it would be dull and i enjoy the debates and reading people's opinions. JH - i appreciate the moral grey area stance but the fact is you pop up in threads all over the place preaching leniency towards ashley, and then say you dont.
