    Arda Turan?

are we starting to call people slow if they don't have bellamy style speed ? To be a winger he is slow, and so was Viana. He is also a small player who likes to much time with the ball, and so was Viana. How many times have you seen him play?, I admit I haven't but either the vids of him on youtube are speeded up or he's definitely nothing like as slow as Viana.. and viana wasnt particularly small, and neither is arda turan. nice post, full of facts

Spot On. It's refreshing that a player moves for his career ambition and the chance of European football and a better coach, rather than moving to the club that offered him the better salary. Even if it is annoying that it's Spurs he is moving too. The ONLY area where they score, is that they are in London, and not every player would see this as the be all and end all. having won silverware this season and being in the uefa cup next season must count for something, surely? Well, Cardiff have just appeared in the FA Cup Final, and pompey have won the FA Cup. Are you saying both of those clubs, especially the winners, are also bigger and better than us ? no i'm not, you're the one bringing those two clubs into the thread, not me. the thread is about spurs, who have just won silverware and are in the uefa cup next season, and that has to be a draw for a player, sorry like, it seems beyond obvious to me. Well, so have pompey. Correct or not ? eh? you want me to validate whether you're statement 'portsmouth have won silverware this season and qualified for europe next season' is correct or not? why? spurs and pompey aredifferent clubs, different reputations, different managers, different squads and more importantly different locations. we all know going to london is a big draw for a lot of players, especially foreigners. the only reason i entered the discussion was to counter your belief that the ONLY area in which spurs 'scored' over nufc was that they're in london, i dont agree. recent silverware and uefa cup football + london team=bigger draw than us at present, pretty obvious imo. i mean, whats your point anyway? spurs aren't a bigger draw than us? its just that mort and ashley are so shit they cant find a pen to seal the modric transfer?

  12. Shut up and get a life. You know what a forum is? Stop posting comments which aren't relevant. Kthxbai. A forum isnt a place that you just post any random s*** that comes into your bored little mind and pass it off as fact. Well firstly a forum is to voice your opinion and in that matter you do post what comes into your mind and secondly I know for a fact this is true. You have no proof to say otherwise. http://www.collectsoccer.com/acatalog/0000000000000000000000000kevinlarge.jpg read that. fuck off.
  13. difficult to contemplate isnt it. i briefly thought 'i wish we were in this' before and my stomach was instantly in knots.
  14. there does seem to be a laid back feel to it all like, weird.
  15. you talking about the hand ball? 100% intentional imo
  16. campbell's been immense first half, won absolutely everything.
  17. so you think if he moved it would simply be out of a desire to play for a better team? sounds like a stupid question tbh but there's a lot more context to it than it suggests.
  18. just gone to pens, starting now rochdale win 5-4 on pens
  19. all depends on their ambition i guess, champions league hopefuls. kk's comments coming back to haunt him already?
  20. just gone to pens, starting now
  21. yeah. but nothing we cant acheive. he's already said he couldnt be happier with the manager and fans, family happy etc. obviously they've got european football NOW so i could see the draw from that point of view. but its not like we're talking about a youngster with stars in his eyes, its michael owen, he's played for real madrid and been an england regular since he was 18, is he gonna go and play in a smaller ground, less fans, less potential, for a couple of uefa cup ties and to finish 2 places higher in the league? if he is he can fuck off with my blessing. everton? meh.
  22. i'll be gutted if owen goes, obviously i like him as a player but also because kk's been so vocal in wanting to keep him, plus losing him to everton doesnt sit right with me, EVERTON?
