Obsessed with playing from about 3 until 13. Played on after that but not with as much intensity. Was usually the best player in my friendship group, played a year up at school, had county trials every year but never got on to the team. Wasn’t fast but understood the game and could shoot/pass accurately and dribble well. Played striker or centre half depending on need in the team. Injured my knee ligaments in my early 20’s and was never the same. Nothing has ever given my more enjoyment than playing football like, I don’t mind admitting that. Got my coaching badge in my early 20’s and I now coach my boy’s U8 team. -
FFS that cut off at the worst possible time. I want to know when that IS going to happen.

Anyone else managed to travel all day and have a few beers without being a total cunt?

Home flag display for him would be good

On balance I think we look a more cohesive team without Wilson TBH but against lesser teams it’s best to have him on the pitch for his finishing. -

No Bruno for this is brutal. I think we still win it though. -

Newcastle United 1-0 Arsenal (04/11/23) - Post match reaction from p. 46

Yep, there was a shit load of Freudian subconscious stuff coming out there. -
Love him so much. There is nowt worse than playing against an absolutely wonderful footballer who will happily stand on your toes when the ref isn’t looking and go through the back of you all day. He’s a complete pain in the arse for the opposition, and he loves the toon.
-
9 times out of 10 I come away from watching him thinking that he’s nowhere near good enough with the ball. He scores loads, like, which is obviously important.
-
We’ll get 9 IMO

There are very clear comparisons to draw between the two, IMO. -

It’s a big problem for Arsenal. Arteta hasn’t got the temperament for the absolute top level. How can you expect your team to keep their cool and stay on the right side of professional when he’s going on like a bairn on the touchline for 90 mins?
