I can do at least one day in all those weekends.

Hodgson seems to be getting a couple of results for Watford, Leeds have made a recent change and might get the bounce, Burnley will probably shit-house their way to a few more points but Everton...Everton made their move months ago, it's not working, and they have pretty tough fixtures remaining. I think they'll go.

Everton vs Newcastle: 17/03/2022 @ 19:45 (Amazon Prime)

Take your point, but Eddie Howe has made Emil Krafth serviceable. If a player wants to be good, Eddie can get a performance out of them it seems. -
Yep. Been banging this drum for years.

And you need to change the instructions you give them. Do away with 'clear and obvious' and replace it with 'given the benefit of replay technology, if you disagree with the on-field decision, ask the on-field official to have another look'.

Lads coming back with fresh legs, Eddie comprehensively out coaching Frank. We'll win. -
We didn't lose because of VAR. We lost because two referees made the wrong decisions.
-
At the risk of repeating myself, someone at the Premier League/UEFA/FIFA needs to publicly acknowledge what we all know: people make mistakes. Until that happens, and is reflected in policy, we won't get any closer to a working system. The 'clear and obvious' clause is a get out. They need to amend that to the VAR official disagreeing with the decision leading to requesting that the ref looks at it again.

I can see it, like, his top speed is noticeably lower than most others. He will adjust to the speed of the league and it won’t be an issue. Cabaye wasn’t quick either.

Allan Saint-Maximin (now playing for Fenerbahce, on loan from Al-Ahli)

We got noticeably worse when he came on. -
I’m totally on board with this Everton collapse now that we’re safe and I’m not concerned about us. I want us to win on Thursday more than I have any game since we last played them.

Great day TBH. We’re fine, look at Everton

I was in Sammy Jacks for that game with about 300 other people. Never seen a reaction to a goal like his second in that game outside of 1-4 at the SOL. Everyone lost it -

The first season ticket that was mine, paid for with my own money, was his first season owning the club I had wanted one for ages before that but couldn’t afford it, used to go with my dad’s ticket a lot in the Bobby years when he couldn’t go. When MA took over I was excited like most were, looked like we were really about to push on. Obviously from Keegan walking out it was all downhill but I vividly remember where I was and what I posted on here when he appointed Pardew, it became blindingly obvious what his use for NUFC was at that point. I remained a supporter, kept my season ticket on for a few seasons but eventually ended up going to uni as a mature student and couldn’t afford/justify going to see Pardew overseeing 0-3 losses at home to the mackems. I got very, very angry about it for a while, would tell anyone within earshot that a total boycott was the only way and I still lecture people to this day on Pardew. Eventually just ended up completely numb, I remember a home game under Rafa (maybe Birmingham) around Christmas time when Barry Bannan ran the show and I just sat there, looked it at, and felt nothing. I was only there as part of the annual lads trip to SJP at Christmas. That was the last time I went to SJP prior to the Brentford game this season. As soon as the takeover news was confirmed I bought myself and my lad memberships and we’ve been to as many games as possible. Despite an almost total boycott of SJP in the latter years one thing I did do was make sure my boy knew he was an NUFC fan, getting kits for him and showing him bits of NUFC games. I also shouted ‘Shearer’ at him every time he kicked a ball to the extent that he does it now naturally despite having very little idea who he is beyond being the bald bloke on MOTD. I’m absolutely desperate for us both to have season tickets now. He’s still only 6 but he’s happy watching the match and loves the whole game day experience. It’s as much for the future as for now. I know fathers and sons, and I know how important that one (or two) shared interest is.
