The table wasn’t fictitious, it was over a different period of time.

Weren’t we the 3rd best team over the calendar year from the point EH came in? I don’t think it’s been such a massive surprise TBH. Agreed on being delighted with the season either way, I just don’t think it’s the revelation that some suggest.

Personally think putting a time limit on VAR is a terrible idea as it just adds pressure and increases the likelihood of more mistakes. He never had control of the game though, agreed there, he was pathetic.

More likely we need to acknowledge that ‘clear and obvious’ doesn’t mean ‘clear and obvious in one replay’. Clarity increases with more information and in this case more angles = more information.

Fucking hell man this thread. Its either the ‘some people got very nervous’ witch hunt which runs weekly, or Pardew

Feeling the nerves again today -
Lads man we’re playing Brighton at home you know

It’s all complete bollocks like. These things are vanity projects. If a club is genuinely willing to listen to fans, you don’t need a middle man.

Mark Lawrenson.

I think really well is a bit over the top. He was very involved, willing, worked hard, etc. However, he was quite predictable IMO and figured out by the defenders pretty quickly. If that chance goes in it's a different story of course, but it didn't.

Superb today

Why was that so stressful?

I compared this lad to HBA and I'd like to apologise to The Universe. At the moment he's far too predictable.

Bruno lost the ball.

Hang on. ‘Didn’t score in a couple of games’ is revisionist. He was putrid, for about six-eight weeks.

I’m sure they weren’t, they couldn’t defend.

Love this new version of us just booling about causing clubs to have existential crises.

Oh sweet, sweet relief.
