While he had some shaky moments last night, I dare say most 'keepers will do so when they're just getting pelted with set pieces and crosses all night. I have nothing to back that up though because like fuck am I going to watch a Stoke tribute act any time other than when we play them. I think for the most part he looked confident coming to claim the ball even if it got a bit messy at times. Was particularly pleased with some solid punches out of the danger area.

Nah we can win without him now so they can keep him.

Selling a player to Saudi then getting him back on loan until his contract expires anyway, rendering the sale pointless on the Saudi buyer's part. I'd love to see the league's reaction to that.
-
Oh my God it was already amazing without me knowing this.
-
Does this mean we can sell him now that we can win without him?

Has anyone else ever book ended their NUFC career with such a sublime couple of performances?

This needs off page 2 sharpish as I fawn over his post-match interview. Obviously so important tonight but the way he talks.. He just says the right shit every time. I love him.

We really are halfway there. If we can placate our best players for another season or two to give us time to nab a few more purples we're fucking rolling.
-
Just glad Delap is out or we may have gotten punished by some of those throw ins.

Nah just worthy of a little chortle from commentary. Something something eccentric something something breath of fresh air.

Isak making nice getting in the red's ear pre-kick off. That's world class player type shit right there.

He's boycoutting the concept of a mid-season release in disgust.

I fucking hate them, I really do. Any other club I'd still roll my eyes at the frequency, but fuck it they've found a hack and more power to you. But them of all clubs? Fuck off. I just can't get over all their cryarseing over our way less offensive tactics the last few years while they now lord it up because they appear to have finally worked out 'dark arts' years later than anyone else. Not to mention use it at the kind of rate that's going to bring rule changes. My most hated club by a mile these days, they really are.

Just need to pick a team each week? Sure, why not. I'm a GamStopping degenerate too so I'm always up for a chance to stake some cash if others are in future.

Hold your horses. We're not out of the woods yet.

I've not watched enough to have an opinion on him but the general consensus as to his weaknesses doesn't particularly excite me tbh. Time to pit my faith in the club it we do sign him, considering their hit rate in identifying quality players. The last 'keeper we snatched from them didn't exactly set most people's pulses rating either.

They can be alright when you don't need to listen to them having a take on absolute everything.

Having fun in here guys?

We must be confident that Pope is almost available and/or we're making a move for someone this month? Feels weird for him to go when he's had his best run for us in 3 years but I get why and hope it's at least allowed for it to boost the fee for us and wages for him a bit. He's been a good servant and I never held a grudge for his wanting out when Pope first took the reigns. Appears to have remained professional since he returned from his loan and if this is his final run with us I'm really pleased he can leave on such a good note.

Fair. Watched a few clips and obviously jumped the gun. He's shown himself up to be a right little bitch then.

I was more irritated at how much space he had to send that ball in in the first place compared to Botman's role tbh. He definitely grew in to the game and oh how I've missed seeing him come out to the centre circle to break up play. One particularly lovely Scharesque ball out to the left wing at one point, too. He's not at Fab's level when it comes to that but he's still got some wonderful passes in his locker when he wants to. Hopefully he's well and truly over his fitness issues and he can build back up to being the beast we know he can be.

Honestly considering some of the dumb questions that get asked of managers to get a rise out of them I can't believe that, as far as I've seen, not one has had the balls to get him to explain what he doesn't think was fair and equal.
