Can you cash out for only a few pennies loss? Or going to let it ride?

Am I the only one who thinks they've just gotten lucky with the timing of some of their 'cryptic' tweets and are now getting too big for their boots?

Yeah I built my team without realising how many teams weren't part of GW1. Completely screwed it up.

I forgot how fucking hard it was to build a balanced team.

Has it been spoken about much before? Seems to have gone over my head if so as it feels like the first I've heard about it. Don't think it would be a terrible idea in theory but for the fact as usual it just benefits the big boys. A CL team could theoretically play in all three competitions if they lose EL and/or CL qualifiers. So a lesser team could fight their way through all four Conference qualifiers, finish second in their group but would then get shafted by a playoff with a team that finished 3rd in the EL groups, who could also have been a CL dropout. And middling teams will get a team in the CL qualifiers then three or four in the Conference, with no EL spots? Seems like a not too crazy idea that's now been made lopsided by the usual pandering to certain types of clubs. Be surprised if this doesn't go the way of the Intertoto even faster than the Intertoto did.

Really don't see what the issue is, aside from the 'I'm telling Daniel!' bit. I imagine that's a fairly standard conversation in a lot of manager's offices and reckon most with any pair of balls would rather their player being up front with any grievances than sniping behind his back or not even caring at all.

My guess is Edgar was joking re Pickford starting and has inadvertently outed Torchy as a mentalist.

Just an eerily similar kind of bet to a former regular of the betting threads a few years back.

Would it work if you didn't include the relegated teams? So they get some form of the current parachute payments while 1st-17th gets the reversed money. Wouldn't make sense to give CL-challenger money to a team about to go in to the Championship. Not that I'm a fan of the concept in general. You’d still have the same issue with all teams I guess. Teams 10th and below with 5 games to go would be incentivised to lose their remaining games as they have nothing other than money to play for. Agreed and why I'm not a fan in general. Would only stop extreme tanking. Probably have to look at implementing fines for fielding understrength teams but that'd be an absolute minefield.

Is there a league open to join? I figure fantasy leagues and betting will be about the only things that keep me interested in football for the foreseeable future.

I agree. We should thank our lucky stars that Mike Ashley is still in charge and at least we can watch appreciate good football being played in our wonderful league by Abu Dhabi City and Chelsea Sputnik FC. Why do we always have to go off the deep end? Because some people just don't get it mate. This Rafalove guy was saying let's wait for a nicer owner to come along. You know...as if owners pass by every couple of hrs like a number 38 bus. Fair enough. Maybe I just didn't pay enough attention to what Rafalove may have posted previously. Just didn't understand why admitting to having reservations about such owners despite still getting excited about it equals 'woo more years of Ashley please'. But I won't delve any deeper as I feel like the forum's done well to not get in to the ol' moral compass argument for a good while and I don't want to change that.

The thick cunt deleted the main tweet but has left this one out there to marinate.

 at the thought of Ashley ever stopping at six chips.

This got discussed when City Group bought in to Girona, too. So UEFA basically favour whichever team finishes highest in their league and bans the other team from playing in Europe. Considering how much more open Ligue 1 is outside of PSG, if they backed Troyes you could feasibly see them nab second and Man City slip to third one year. Wonder if they'd stick to their rules then... Mental it's even allowed to reach that stage. Completely wrecks the integrity of competitions before you even reach the point that they would bother to take action.

I think many are simply savouring it.

Queue NUFC with an offer of £2.5m + Ritchie.

Non-league season tickets always sound expensive for what they are until I remember the adult ticket breaks down to like six quid a game. Even more of a bargain when I see a Gateshead adult ticket for the same league is £249.
