I guess it's not that weird but it feels wrong to have completely forgotten by full time that he was there available on the bench. I can obviously understand if he's thinking about one last shot at the Euros squad but feels pretty far fetched. Hadn't Southgate already been leaving him out for a while before his injury? Didn't appear he was set to be part of their plans even when fit so I can't see him squeezing his way back in on the back of a maximum of three games.

Can we revoke the new contract? He's now forever tainted.
  3. Bloody Paully. Love how Bruno just seems to have stocked up on every possible shirt in our history for his family. I swear they're always rocking a different one.
  4. Apparently Roy Keane thinks he might get even more credit in a few years once he's gone. Is this utter wankathon three hours out from them kicking off a nothing match now they're out of the title race not enough? Jesus Christ.
  5. We really need a fucking orchestra for this gurning cunt?

Yup. I personally can't shake the feeling that if he was trusted earlier he would've been up to speed earlier but it's speculation that will never be proven either way and not worth the energy debating at this point. The important thing is that the lad's officially arriving, Eddie's began to trust him and I'm delighted for him.
  7. Woof. W1 D4 L13 in the past 20 years. I'll hope for a draw at least but it probably doesn't help that West Ham don't particularly have much to play for. Think that'll play an even bigger part considering the widely held view that these could be Moyes's last few games which could make it even harder for them to get truly motivated.
  8. Well we've only lost to them, the current top three and Chelsea since the turn of the year. If we don't moan about that result we might have to move on to just asking questions about the draws and that's not quite as dramatic enough.
  9. It's weird. I keep looking at the table even more than I think I was last season. It all felt quite surreal a year ago but now I'm gagging for us to get another crack at Europe.

    Joelinton

It's so soothing to see him pop up all over the shop again. And to remember he's finally locked in for another four years.
  11. I'm honestly just fucking sick to the back teeth of it being the conversation 5 minutes after every single match right now with him and Isak.
  12. When does he slap Havertz round his stupid little ratface in all of this?

If this is accurate it looks like he's well clear: https://www.statmuse.com/fc/ask/most-penalties-won-this-season Scrolling down says our last match was Sheff U so might not even include today's. Might not be long before he's on the all-time list. https://theanalyst.com/eu/2024/01/who-has-won-the-most-penalties-premier-league/ Whilst searching I was interested to discover through Transfermarkt that today's appears to have matched our highest penalties awarded in a PL season of 9 in 1993/94. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/premier-league/topErhalteneElfmeter/wettbewerb/GB1/plus/?saison_id=2023
  14. Tbf it looks like we threw away our last chance of fighting for 5th with the Palace loss; way too much needs to go right for that to be on the cards now. But just getting Europe will be amazing. I was already prepped for ending up in the Conference League from the start of the season so to be in the driving seat for that and potentially an extra Europa slot after the turbulence we've faced leaves me more than satisfied.
  15. Think I'm really growing to like this guy.

Genuinely not trying to catch people out but why was there a growing fear of him being moved back to the centre? Reminding us of why we fell in love with him when he slotted in there seamlessly on arrival.

Reason #762 I'm ashamed to be bald. Rancid excuse for a top tier referee.

He's found that dog in him.
  19. Wolves and Bournemouth. Top 10 guaranteed.

What a waste of some of our summer budget.
  21. I'll take my only complaint being Ritchie. Just the kind of away performance we could do with.
  22. I'd say we could make a case for Ritchie having one. Worth a go.
  23. And my river freezes for the first time all match. Thanks a lot, Matt Ritchie.
