Owen Hargreaves- £16m Michael Carrick- £18m Gareth Barry- valued at £18m If Fellaini makes the step up, which I think he will, then the price is fine. He's only 20 as well.
-
Fellaini for £12.5m apparently. He's no Carlo Nash. Still unconfirmed though.
-
If Diarra is available and we don't go for him I'll be livid. The answer to our midfield problems.
-
He has copied David James' Clark Kent hairdo from last season
-
If we sign Smith and Barton I'm going to commit Hari Kari in the centre circle at Goodison I fucking hate football
-
Wasn't he one of the kids Chelsea got in trouble for trying to sign?
-
So to recap: Has trial at Everton, gets binned off when we sign Jacobsen. Claims we want him but he's off to Newcastle instead. Gets binned off by Newcastle. Signs for Hull City. I'm sure he'll be telling the local paper how he turned down us both for the mighty Tigers.
-
Lescott is in too. He's had a bad start to the season and Capello puts him in but when he was in brilliant form last season he was behind Matthew fucking Upson of all people in the pecking order.

I always liked that banner "We're not fickle, we just don't like you"
-
Don't think so, on Setanta isn't it? No more Laura
-
I didn't even know the result tbh, I just assumed you lost because you looked a shambles in the first half.
-
Gift-wrapped can only be applied today to Pablo Counago's goal against us, sorry. I saw that when I went back home briefly after the match. Very poor, looks like you're going to have a bit of a struggle on as well.
-
That is absolutely stupid. Not in the slightest tbh. They know they're getting a very good player, with bags of potential, who they know works for the club and works in the team. They could get an unknown or a past-it for similar prices and not get half the rewards. Will be pleased for them if they pull it off. The market for British players, young players in-particular, is extortionate - we have to live with it. Of course it's stupid. He's had 6 good months in the second division, for him to be priced at anywhere near £7m is a total joke.

I know it sounds ridiculous when you've been beaten 3-0 but Portsmouth were pretty shit. They are really no great shakes. Both sides were rubbish but the difference was that they were solid at the back and we weren't. The first 2 goals were just gift wrapped. I don't know what the fuck Lescott has been doing over the summer but he's had an awful start, doesn't look the same player he was for the past two seasons. We hit the post, had 2 off the line and Yakubu took the worst penalty I've seen in a while... so obvious which way he was going and he hit it with no power and at the perfect height for the keeper. Loads of negativity surrounding the club at the minute, I think we're in for an underachieving, crap season. It's got that feel about it.
-
He always seemed like one of those players who nobody knew what he'd do with the ball next, including himself. You'd be better off just giving Enrique a run of games imo
-
So he's turned down Spurs, Newcastle, Everton, Porto & Monaco. Who exactly does this guy think he is? Fucking Maradona or something? I think any club is better off without him if that's his attitude
-
We've got an option to buy Obinna. Surely not. Why would they sign him this summer just to loan him out and then sell him the next year? They've had part ownership of him for years. They just bought out the rest of his rights, probably to sell him for a profit.
-
He's an idiot. He said he left a message on Mears' phone saying he'd made the "worst mistake of his life". The worst mistake of his life would be passing up the opportunity to sign for a massive club like Marseille to stay at a shit team in the Championship. What's the worst that can happen? He'll get sold to another Championship club? I bet Mears is laughing his cock off from a hotel in the south of France.

Willy McKay was never mentioned when Zayatte was linked with us. It said his agent was Roger Boli(?). Bit of a strange one.
-
Good signing imo, i reckon it'll but a small fee as well He can be a class player when fit. So keep him fit and you've got a bargain Only a nominal fee apparently. Man Utd probably wanted to shift his wages before they sign Berbatov on a big contract. I'm happy to take a gamble on him.
-
I love the way none of the papers even got a sniff off Saha signing It was hinted at for a couple of weeks by self-proclaimed ITK's on forums but I didn't think there was much in it.
-
Looks like the delay means they will miss out on some EU & NWDA funding as well.
-
So they could end up paying around £13 million for Milner and Smith. Are you trying to send me over the edge?
-
I'll f***ing piss me self if you pay more than £10m for him. Pace. He's about as pacey as Tony Hibbert on crutches. Moyes has gone nuts. This is one player I hope we lose out on, hopefully he'd pick Villa anyway since he's been there before.
