    Today's other games

I'm not sure I've ever seen us dominate a game so much as against Fiorentina last night. I think they had one attack, we should have scored about 5 goals in the 90mins and barely gave them a kick. Knew we'd go out when it came to pens though. Everton never win on penalties. It's the law. Strange mix of being gutted and proud walking out of Goodison. Ah well.
  2. If only Bill Kenwright hadn't turned him away. Seems like the ideal chairman, good luck to him at Villa.
  3. We wanted to take that Vokes on trial but Bournemouth wouldn't let him come up here.
  4. I hear what you're saying but I still don't think they'll win it. Benitez certainly knows how to set up a team to win a one-off game and they'll be tough to beat but I'd fancy all 3 English teams left in it to knock them out if it comes down to brass tacks. I'd bet my house on them beating Chelsea in the CL. Easily. Arsenal... I'm unsure about. Out of everyone left in it I'm only confident that the mancs would beat them.
  5. They'll probably try and buy him now that they're minted. He's been there for 2 seasons.
  6. Who was the Cardiff kid they said Everton & Liverpool are interested in? I turned it on just as they were talking about it near the start of the match and couldn't make out who they meant think it was him, wikipedia links you two to him. Thanks mate.

  8. Sorry to dissapoint you but were not there to entertain you. At the moment we have a problem with about twenty thousand day tripping new age soccer am fans in the ground, and about twenty thousand lads that carnt be arsed going in anymore (for the reasons you say) drinking in pubs around the ground or in town. Do you think you will fill the new stadium when it's built? I read somewhere that there was a few thousand seats when you played West Ham. There always used to be empty seats pre-Istanbul

Irvine is doing a good job for PNE so far (although it's very early days). Maybe he'll come back to Everton as no.1 some day.
  10. Good shout mate. Joe Parkinson was fantastic. My favourite player when I was younger.

I hate Fabregas, see him trying to get Heskey sent off earlier? w******.

Aye. Need Everton to pull their finger out as well. Cahill had one off the line towards the end of the half

The antics out of Ferguson and Queiroz after today's game were a fucking joke The ref only got one decision of any consequence wrong. For the first time in a long time it went against Man Utd and they've thrown the dummy out of the pram. What a bunch of wankers. Imagine they had to put up with the awful decisions some of the rest of us have suffered from this season, what seems like every other week, not every other season like in the mancs case.
  14. Game of his life probably. He's hardly scoring for fun in the Championship is he?
  15. Finally, someone without their head up Keegans arse! Form the outside its different, my housemates all feel similar to the above (arsenal, Blackbuurn and Tramemre fans). And they don't watch us, so what has they think got to do with anything? I've been at every home game, I was at Wigan and Fulham. I know exactly how s*** we were under Allardyce. Don't really give a toss what casual outsiders think (no offence intended, 1878, or indeed you, SpinS. I'm not trying to play the soopafan card or anything.) No offence taken mate. Just giving my view from the outside looking in, I was expecting it to be taken with a pinch of salt by the rest of you.
  16. Nah. I think you would've have fared better under Allardyce, especially if he was backed with a couple of signings in the Jan window. However, even if he had to work with what he already had I think he would have made you at least a more solid looking outfit that could grind out results when necessary. There is also the plus point of it being a squad he had started moulding for his own tactics which is something Keegan doesn't have the benefit of. In short, it looks like it might be touch and go as to whether you stay up under Keegan but I think under Allardyce we would have seen a finish around the 11th/12th mark. I said at the time that you should have just stuck with him until the summer at the very least.

    Brilliant scenes at Barnsley.

Alex Ferguson's face was a picture
  19. Lucas is a good player. What's he done to warrant being called a weak link exactly? Their shitty left backs are the weakest part of the side. Anyway, hope you do them today! Can't really see it though.

I gave up reading there. Absolute nonsense. earlier in the season you were moaning about moyes and the state everton were in, weren't you? Last season I was moaning about the style of play which has drastically changed, the turning point being a home defeat to Spurs near the end of last season when negative tactics cost us the match late on. Since then Moyes has changed his approach and all credit to him, he did what was needed and has my support again

    Soccer AM Now

Holly Willoughby's tits are fantastic. And to be fair, the Emirates might as well be a theatre. It's worse than Highbury ever was.
  22. Total made up bollocks and a bit of an insult to all the great players we've had. Suppose it makes the article a bit snappier though. Billy Kenny was a great talent, more like Steven Gerrard than Gazza, but I've never seen anyone put him near an all-time XI, he only gets talked about as a waster.

    UEFA Cup

I had the same thought. I'm superstitious with football though. Plus, ITV is full of cunts.
