I've come to expect games like this at home, it's been there to see all season that we've been under performing, but we've generally bounced back, which I'm pretty confident we'll do again. As long as this doesn't start becoming a habit we should be good. It may be a lot closer than we all think though, and I can definitely see Brighton pipping us to the title.

After seeing us on Tuesday I was fearing today when seeing the line up. A few key players have played without rest for a good while now, it must be taking it's toll. Shelvey, Ritchie, Clark, Dummett and Lascelles would all have needed a rest ideally on tuesday to prepare properly for today. It might be good we have a week until Birmingham.

This happens regularly like. Just my opinion but I don't think he has what it takes at this level let alone in the PL. Becoming clear he's not good enough in any situation bar when we sit deep and invite pressure.

Same here. Absolute joke. These stadiums in the middle of nowhere where 90 percent come by car are a disgrace to society. 90 mile drive home for me but didn't get in until nearly 1am as it took so long to get away. Yep same here. Seemed like quite a few fans were late to the game as well due to being stuck in traffic. Joke! We got on one of the buses at 6.50 and were 5mins late. Ridiculous.

The novelty of having a reliable centre back is probably playing a large part in that. Meh, this season has largely been built on being solid at the back first and foremost, so I don't see it as that unreasonable. It seems like he's been ever-present too.

Sunderland just need to go down, for their own sake more than anything. Need a full reset.

They're a good side, no doubt about it. If they had a decent striker they'd be pretty formidable in this league.

I thought he was alright tonight, too. Was generally quite involved and actually put himself about to a decent extent without giving away shitloads of fouls (though there were a few).

We were good tonight. Silly pen aside we executed Rafa's gameplan perfectly, it was clear we were building up to that finale even with 20-25 mins to go, as we were just knocking it around tiring them out and not going hell for leather.

We've got no legs in the side apart from Yedlin maybe, I really think Atsu has to play just give us a counter attacking threat. If we go Murphy/Ritchie/Gouff/Diame/Shelvey/Diame, which I'm expecting, we'll be penned in our own half with no out ball. Not really looking forward to this.
