  1. Is this the longest half in the history of association football? Only 75 mins ffs.

  3. Would've been on the bench today lol
  4. Cheers, did see that, but it's got 12 bids already with 3 days to go, don't really want to pay more than £40-£50.
  5. Anybody know where I can get the blue England Italia 90 shirt online for a relatively decent price?

Seriously, is it just me being idealistic or is perhaps an expanded and tailored version of Wullie's post there not perfect for some kind of 'open letter' that could somehow be distributed to match going fans (and beyond?) Create a bit of buzz on social media, so people are expecting it, which I'm sure a lot of people on here including myself would be more than willing to provide with grandioso tweets to news outlets (especially the banned ones) and journo's and then get the thing written, I reckon it would get about quick enough and it would be a good way to build pressure if a well read outlet picked it up.
  7. The opposite for me, they're not one-dimensional but definitely boring.
  8. Reminds of those Pickled Onion Walkers you used to be able to get.
  9. Good comment there too. "Pathetic. Pardew is just as culpable as the rest of Ashley's cronies at the club. If Pardew had any backbone he would walk away (regardless of the rumoured debt he owns Ashley). That he doesn't walk away tells it's own story. His managerial style is identical to that of Souness - tireless self publicist who takes the credit and any glory from results but deflects every bad thing onto players. the Journalists covering him all fall for this too "oh, poor cockney wideboy Pards - he's hamstrung by Ashley". no he isn't. he is there as an accomplice to the destruction of the club and the ongoing humiliation of the fanbase."
  10. Why does what we've done previously matter so much? It should have absolutely no bearing. There's too much past gazing from football fans in general imo. "But we did this in 82!1!" Who fucking cares seriously?
  11. Surely must be 2-3 to B-Rod?
  12. Like with Sturridge we should have been in there at the first opportunity. Really is depressing.
  13. Stink bombs in Sports Direct at the busiest times.
  14. Need clarification on 'blame' tbh. You can't attribute blame in the traditional sense to the fans for Ashley's actions, he is mismanaging the club by not investing in it and pursuing it's potential, and that is ultimately down to him. Personally I've stopped going to games and won't go back until he's gone, but that's more down to self-respect rather than hoping it will force him closer to the exit it door, unfortunately I think they'll just be more younger people and ignorant people to buy tickets off him. The best way to get him out is to expose our displeasure in the media as far as possible so the subject sticks and brings negative press to Sports Direct, which is clearly what he cares about. That should be the focus imo.
  15. Mike Ashley is to blame and that's it.
