I only really get to away games, so the crowd is generally quite knowledgeable and understanding when things don't happen immediately. Had the 'pleasure' of going to Vicarage Road for a few games recently to watch Watford, and fuck me, there's some clueless bastards amongst their home support. Literally just shouting abuse at the officials for the full 90 minutes and calling their own players cunts. I swear the football is of secondary importance to a lot of them. I don't know if it's the same at St James' regularly, but it was an eye opener.

cheers, just wondered about zola like as noone seems to have mentioned him Just came to think of Zola as well, realistic option and by the looks of it Watford has been scoring a shitload. Best part is, he's an extremely likeable guy and I have no doubt he'd help Cisse out a lot to develop more. Maybe not the best choice around, but certainly one I think we should be looking at. Wouldn't take Zola, for starters his preferred formation is 352. He's got some real quality players to help him at Watford, too. The likes of Vydra, Abdi, Chalobah, Forrestieri and obviously Almunia are easily Premiership class from what I've seen. I'd really like us to go for Vydra as it happens, only 20, won Championship player of the season, plays for the Czech Republic, looks top quality when I've seen him live and my Watford mates rave about him, and they generally know their stuff.

There's no point going to the trouble of sacking Pardew only then to appoint Steve Clark ffs.

The way I see it, if Pardew can take us to 5th-7th then so can someone else, and the future would be a lot brighter under someone like Martinez.

You can't do anything about it if Graham decides to just wander off to Mbiwa and stick to him, that's what I was told to do when I played upfront; go and mark the smallest centre back when we don't have the ball.

We'll Pardew our way to a 0-0.

The shout of binning him and letting Carver take over to the end of the season is one I like. I think it'll do more damage to continue down this road he has us on than to take that risk.

Martinez. Have to hope they go down and we stop up first though.

Reactive/proactive.

Ridiculous decision to play him, compounded by a terrible performance. Tries hard, can't fault that, but he's quite simply not up to it in a team that has left him behind quality wise.

I think all the good will he built up from last season might have evaporated now. If we look poor in the next couple of games, I think he'll start getting some stick, and rightly so.

Was crap but not the reason we lost by any means. Do think he's regressed badly, hopefully we keep him and a new manager comes in who'll channel his aggression properly. At the moment he just has too much ground to cover and it leads him jumping into challenges and getting passed around.

Thing is, we don't, if everyone did collectively, we'd look solid. Defensive, but solid. What the fuck he's got the two centre backs pushed right back and the full backs pushed right on for I don't know. Ridiculously easy to defend against and to exploit the channels, which is what Sessegnon and Graham did all day. Fucking abysmal, indecisive, disjointed tactics.

The way Di Canio plays football, high fitness and high pressure, he'd be capable of getting a hell of a lot more out of our squad than Pardew.

Think this might be it for him, see out the season then let go. Suddenly we're back in a relegation fight. FFS.

Both of their positioning is crap.

Graham has been annoyingly effective, too.

Straight lines, rigid positions, no movement. Same old. Cabaye has been dogshite. Should drop Sissoko back and get him on the ball as he's wasted atm.
