I can't stand having him in charge anymore, it's like no matter how well we do, nothing is ever safe. I can only hope we scrape survival and replace him in the summer. Doesn't feel like a corner turned or anything, he is simply out of his depth and turned what should have been an easy three points into a desperate and scraped over-achievement.

I hate our negativity when we go in front. Midfielders rubbing shoulders with the centre backs, so depressing. A lot of that is natural but Pardew should encourage them to push out, on the contrary I think he tells them to stay back.

I'm sorry but there's no chance he'd do this if there wasn't a good reason. I just can't believe he's suddenly decided out of the blue he doesn't want to play another game, right in the middle of the season. Something clearly going on, the silence just makes me think it's something the club doesn't want to come out, like he's fallen out with Pardew. If the wife thing was true, why not come out and say it?

I am pleased btw, just haven't forgotten how bad we've looked under Pardew even before the current injury crisis.

Jaysus Christ ... Yeah you're right actually. We've looked cohesive and play really well as a team, meaning these players will slot in easily, rather than expecting them to turn things around where other players of similar quality and stock have failed.

I still fear we're just hoovering up players out of contract rather than buying them to fit a certain gameplan and club philosophy.
