Are you blaming Newcastle for the problems in Gazza's life? If so horse s***! Gazza was supberb for Newcastle but he didn't stay that long he was in London, Rome and Glasgow longer than in Newcastle, certainly as a player. I think you missed the sarcasm there mate. Ok embarrassed apologies, I'd missed a few pages within the thread, sorry.

that's awesome I'm laughing hysterically at your post, great work

I also watched him live last week and thought that he'd played well. Really? He was ok but could've been sent off quite easily but I think my disappointment came from a massive expectation after reading about performances that I had not seen whilst on holiday. Tonight though as I've said quality performance especially as I think Parker and Noble are decent players, not as good as sky and fleet street think they are but canny. Anyway back on track his performance tonight was Essien like and there's not much higher praise than that.

I saw him live last week and was a little disappointed after reading reviews on here and listening to the Everton game live on radio 5 whilst waiting for the RAC but tonight WOW! Brillinat performance owened the midfield fantastic in the tackle and qulaity on the ball.

Just had an e-mail from a Man City supporting mate who was at the game fully admitting that we were robbed, he was amased at their pen been given and even more suprised that our's wasn't he didn't mention De Jong and I haven't seen the tackle so how bad was it?

After being in Italy recently it would take a massive amount for me to leave if I'd been born there. A fantastic country, history, climate, awesome place.

Maybe the difference between the two teams isn't as big as some think. It is. And we failed miserably. Have a word! not knocking too much but Everton's success has been hard work and organisation but your not that good. Again I'm not attacking Everton (despite what it sounds) but the Premiership is not as good as it thinks it is.

Lads & Lasses I'm asking for help, we had our our family holiday recently (well son went back to uni so it was me and the wife) and we flew back into Newcastle in the early hours of Saturday. Anyway I picked the car up from the on laws just before kick off to find that the car was in the huff so I phoned the RAC. Whilst waiting for them I listened to the commentary on 5 live to find that the we won, played well and thoroughly deserved everything. Then I watched football first!!!!! Who the fook was the scouse co-comenter? He tried to blame Williamson and Barton when hair bare bunch should've been sent off and descirbed the pen on Nolan as Maldini type defending!!!! Please excuse any typos as I'm knackered but I'm pleased on how we played today despite the shite we had to put up with. Long may it continue.

I have never understood this about Wenger. He could have (and should have) offered us 10m for Given 6-8 years ago and they would have had a few more titles/trophies to their name. Given is massively overrated. If he was that good, one of the top four would have simply snatched him off us long before he ditched us when he saw the ship was sinking. Look how long it's took him to be sidelined when he's landed at a club with loftier ambitions than our own. Hart might actually communicate with defenders during the game and not use them as convenient scapegoats for his own failings. Have you ever attended a Newcastle match? Given is\was a good talker given a constant stream of information and encouragement to his back four, but it continues a sterotype

I couldn't agree more! Has any pay on the day details been mentioned? I'll probably do my usual and whinge about prices then not be able to resist come match day

Stephen Taylor going into monument mall in Toon Thursday or Friday last week, he looked quite chubby to so lets hope for a hard pre season!

Because the ref gave them everything. Referee also gave Barca a ten man advantage for 70 minutes. Shut yourself and stop complaining. If he hadn't raised his hands, he'd have still been on the pitch. It's his own f***ing fault for being stupid enough to push the player away with his hand. And if Barca players hadn't come into contact with Inter players they would not have opportunity to dive. Do not let minor infractions from players excuse vast incompetence for highly paid and qualified referees. The ref had no other option man. He raised his hands above the neck - EVERYONE knows that's a sending off - he shouldn't have f***ing done it. You can shield the ball without putting the palm of your hand on someone's face. There would be numerous reds in every game if we always applied the rules that way. It was just barely above the neck and Motta didn't even look at him while he was doing it, how's he know he was going to touch his face? He's just trying to hold the opponent off. If Busquets hadn't thrown himself on the floor then he wouldn't have even got a yellow. if you don't know where someone is you use your arm not the hand but yes biscuits did go overbaord, as did eto'o monets earlier to get pedro booked. the difference is that milans defensive tactics are built round underhand play (as they were against us those few years ago and as italians have done for years). the only way round it is for ANY deliberate foul to be yellow carded. It was Inter's tactics Milan went out ages ago during Rooney's awesome period, I'm not sure if Newcastle have played against Milan plus they weren't that under handed Bellamy was a t*** and Shearer lost his rag Did you watch the second leg? Dirtiest, most underhanded team we've ever played. Honourable mention to Roma and in particular Francesco Totti in 99/00.

I'm not being pedantic there is only one team called Milan, it's something the press get massively wrong in England but in Italy they are known as Inter or Internationale Re Bellamy he was pushed and buffeted but his was a very blantant retaliation much more worthy of a red card than Motta's tonight if tonights game had involved man utd and i just said manchester would you have said the same, we say newcastle all the time yet till recently there was newcastle blue star , would you jump on that ? edit....i know there is no such club as bayern munich bit i wouldn't dream of being sooooo picky about it. edit 2...bellamy was punched in the back twice off the ball by materrazzi. Your right I apologise, yesterday was a really shit day work wise and in all honesty I was being a dick but I do think your being kind to Bellamy but at the time I would've agreed. In the wrong mood I am a pedantic (insert any insult you like, bit not too may please ;-)) but the Milan does wind me up as everywhere other than England they're known as Inter and Milan afterall AC Milan translates to Club Football Milan but looking back my post's were a bit shit really

Are you sure about that? Zidane did win the world cup and the champions league

Yes I did I was in the away end getting attacked by flares and bottles of piss, I'm not sure why I defaulted to the home leg maybe it's because I'm annoyed at the Radio 5 Live Barca love in that was tonight's coverage. I'm just in from a shit day at work and maybe over reacting to the radio coverage

That's a great play but a shocking tv program, I've never forgiven Clunes for that shite performance
-
Dude, have you seen Thierry Henry? He's weak as s*** now and was always pretty weak if challenged. However, because of his pace, movement and agility, he was rarely challenged. That's why I think Messi will be a success; because his attributes make it very hard for defenders to mark and tackle him. Dude did you see Henry at his peek? I did and he was lightening but much taller and braoder in person than he looked on the TV. I go to the gym on a regular basis and would love a physique like Henry's Weak as fuck my arse!

Lots of funny shit in this thread, good work!

He is a prize prick and no mistake
