He looks like he's scared of making a mistake and then takes too long and makes one anyway, he doesn't seem to be trusting his technique or ability at all. As many others have said the sooner he gets a goal the better as hopefully his confidence well get better but he's been disapointing so far.

We may have had moderate success recently with the likes of Taylor, and Carroll is looking promising, but our recent record doesn't have a great deal to be proud of in terms of youth development. He developed further back in France but left for a smaller fee due his contract running down, plus it was a French coach awash with Harrords cash that took the chance of bringing him to England permantley but still it's all Newcastle's fault. He was absolutely terrible towards the end of his career, living on his former reputation as the best ref around. Just ask Neil and 1878 what they think of him at the end of his career. The main reason Collina was so good was the fact that he was as fit as the players and kept up with play better than anyone else so he was making decisions with a much clearer view than other referees, so it makes sense that he struggled with age as he couldn't keep up with play as well as before

Scored against Spurs tonight, missed the target with a decent chance, had another well saved then mis controlled going round the keeper with a chance that he should've scored. Plays on the half turn and threatens well in behind so he'd offer a different dimention to what's currently in the squad.
