Anyone else think he might have a clause that states he plays every game if fit? Can't think of any other reason why he gets into the squad never mind the first 11
-
Does anyone really think he'll take a pay cut? Does anyone think that extending his contract at the end of the season will be accomplished by offering him half as much as he's on already? Owen holds all the cards. He'll not extend for less money, his value will be minimal by virtue of being into his final year - he'll secure his wage level by letting his contract run down to nothing. He'll (continue to) rape this club one way or the other.

Which means (like most in the thread) you miss the point being made entirely.

Did he not join a team in the bottom 3?

While Spurs went and got a world class manager. Well done Ashley.

Relegation - will we or won't we? *NO FIXTURE LISTS PLEASE*

Everyone who with confidence predicts 'we aren't going down' should take a look at the stats since Keegan took over. We are a side in massive decline. I think most wont entertain thoughts of relegation but at what point will folk accept that the 'Keegan effect' has been a massive negative and not in the slightest a positive. Wake up - we stand as much chance as everyone (but Derby) of going down. We are taking a hiding every time we take to the pitch. Five of the immediate six below us have better GD. -
We could drop to 5th bottom. Most of the teams below us now have superior goal difference. We REALLY could go down.

Shepherd and his IDIOTIC choice Allardyce have DESTROYED NUFC

And what of Ashleys choice of bringing Keegan back? Was he thinking tactical genius or was he thinking merchandise? Makes you wonder. -
"i've got no strings to hold me up......"

In three decades of following NUFC home and away one of the most sickening sights I've witnessed was after the semi final debacle in Cardiff. An absolutely appaling performance and the fucking thick stupid cunts who like to proclaim themselves the wonderously brilliant 'toon army' are singing and clapping like the twats they are/were. Little wonder were in the shite state we are today when absolute shite can raise applause.

A million times more admirable than booing. No matter how shit the preformance was. Foriegner?

Brum player has nigh on crippled Eduardo and was sent off. SKY wont replay the incident but be assured youtube will have it within minutes.
-
sky wont show the challenge again Some people might not want to see the photos going around, so don't put the photo up on here, only link to it, so that everyone can have freedom of choice
-
Any American who lives local to Florida (Disney etc) who would like to see NUFC over next Christmas I'll gladly swap my house for yours for two weeks and you can even have the free use of my season ticket. Same goes for anyone who lives a glorious hotspot in this marvellous world of ours. (Folk from Walker need not apply)

Biggest mistake of his life was listening to that cunt Venables and not Alex Ferguson

I think that what SBR does best is gets everyones rose tinted specs out! In the second half of his final fulll season his results were nothing but ordinary. People conveniently forget the capitulation in the CL knockout stage. West Brom, from a division below, knocked us out of the competition that Boro went on to win, at home with us playing a weakened team. Both results could have seen SBR marched out of Toon in reality 4th place was going up for grabs from christmas onwards and we made no impact in making it ours by stringing just a reasonable run of results - in the end we were delighted at qualifying for the UEFA. In my opinion SBR shuld have gone at the end of that season. Typicaly Shepherd/Halls dithered and wasted yet another oportunity just to do the right thing at the right time. Not forgetting how SBR lost his battle of wills with the shitehawk Dyer when he refused to play - that was the end of him. He is though a top fella and the biggest regret for me is that he didn't arrive post Keegan. I think we would have got very very close to the title if he had.

I said on this board in the week following the game that amongst the hysteria of a 3-1 win our second half performance was absolutely shocking and if we played like that in the future we'd struggle badly. And, we weren't brilliant at any point of that game or any Premiership game since.
