Still fear the worst tbh but if the Mackems have to come out to 'win' matches rather than grind out organised/defensive points things could get very interesting cos that goes against everything the fat blob stands for and they could get picked off by other teams.

At the end of the game, amidst all of the adulation and name singing, he had his arm around Ayoze's shoulder and was telling him how to deal with that break at the end of the game next time to be more effective. I thought he was really good yesterday and felt Perez should have come off before him as Ayoze's legs looked shot. I was vociferously against his signing and can now see that he can have a positive impact for where we are now as a club.
