Sad that Elliott isn't starting. He was clearly the best best midfielder mid-week out of him, Willock and Longstaff. Hopefully he gets on early. We still have Howe as head coach. This match is still very winnable. Don't jump off that building/cliff quite yet ppls.

Wanting better cover for injuries is all well and good but what happens when Bruno is back if he was to get injured? We're struggling to keep hold of Dubravka because he apparently wants to be on Man Utds bench ahead of ours. We don't have any European competition to give squad players a decent amount of game time. Let's focus on improving the first team first so we can get in a postion where we can justify to other players that they will be sufficiently involved even if they aren't regular starters.

First game week this season I've hit the right players. Haaland captain, Dias & Trent. If Jesus, Saka & Son can procude some points as well I'll be more or less back on track in all my leagues.

Great signing for West Ham. Will certainly add an interesting element to the match against them with Bruno against his best friend.

He's done nothing wrong. It's just that Botman has played against the very best in Man City and then League 2 Tranmere, and I want to see how he performs against a more (on paper) evenly matched team.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think Howe will entertain the idea of involving him without having barely met any of the players let alone stepped foot on the training field or had any sort of tactical briefings.

3 weeks can quickly develop into 3 months if his recovery doesn't go as planned and he has set backs. We saw that last season with his calf injury. Thank god we're getting Isak.
