They were living way above their means, and on the brink of administration before Roman came in and saved them, so you could argue in a world without rich uncles they would be even lower than 4th-7th.

Hadn't heard of him until yesterday myself either He's at a good age (turned 23 in January) where if he needs time to adapt we can afford to bed him in with having Wilson available. He's already been abroad at PSV so moving away from Italy shouldn't be a big shock as he will already have an idea of what it's like to live abroad. If you youtube "WHO IS GIANLUCA SCAMACCA? The Future Inter Number 9?" there's a guy that does a pretty decent analysis of what type of player he is. He seems like a more atheltic version of Crouch imo, and seems quite good defensively as well (good pressing and tackles).

I got a bit of a hard on after watching clips of Gianluca Scamacca after seeing we were linked with him yesterday. Seems like the perfect striker for us. Think that would be my #1 target for striker in the summer.

Bit of a digression, but how tf can a twitter account called John Lennon be verified?
-
Henri Lansbury. Now that's a blast from the past. Remember I was fuming at his theatrics as well.
-
Annoying. Really wanted Forest to get automatic promotion. If they fail to win the play-offs a consolation price would be if we could get our hands on Brennan Johnson.
-
Never heard about him before, but he looks fantastic. If you're big and fast, you're already half way there in terms of handling the premier league. He seems to have good work rate, technique and a lethal shot in him as well. Sign him up!

Agree Bissouma the football player would be perfect for us. He is still under investigation for sexual assault though. The other male arrested in the case got his conditional bail extended in beginning of April until 6th of June so seems like it's still some time until the investigation is over?
-
It's highlight reels so of course he'll look good, but Paqueta looks tailor made for this league.
-
Sure, if we're playing FM with cheat codes. Good luck managing to ship away 12 senior players who's not performed ever/for a long time who's on good deals, and good luck managing to fill up a 17 man squad with the quality we need to progress

It's one thing creating the chances he gets week in week out in the Championship but another thing entirely in the Prem. If you give him chances he'll score regularly.
-
If nobody reads his articles or hate reads/reacts to his twitter, his opinion is worth nothing. Everytime you post something from him anywhere, he wins.

The tweet above says Everton are now competing & have a chance. Hardly describing it as a miracle.
-
It's the same in almost every league. Nothing new, just new people getting tired of the same thing older people got tired with a long time ago. Just a few examples: Bayern have been outside of the top four 7 times since 1964 Real Madrid has been outside of the top four 13 times since 1929 Ajax has been outside of the top four 5 times since 1961 Anderlecht has been outside the top four 1 time since 1987 Club Brugge has been outside the top four 2 times since 1987 Juventus has been outside the top four 17 times (including relegation & Serie B season due to match fixing) since 1949

From what I was watching, Everton worked their socks off against us, Man Utd and Chelsea and made us and them look very ordinary. It's more a compliment to Everton than criticism of their opponents imo. Their fans should take a lot of credit if they stay up, for cheering their team on and making Goodison a nasty place to play for visiting teams.

I don't think he's a realistic target fwiw. It's probably a season or two too early for us. However, if Man Utd are in the run for him, without CL, I don't see why we shouldn't be in there as well. He'll be worth it. Skip to 06:22 Skip to 02:05 Or you know, just look at some footage of him. He's not the finished product, but his potential is immense.
-
His all round game is still better than 90% of our current squad. He'd be an immense signing. Tall, strong, fast, good movement, dribbling, finishing. Exactly what we need to step up to the next level. Still fairly young so can get better too.

Lukaku turns 29 in two weeks. Let him be Chelseas problem until they are prepared to let him go for whatever anyone are offereing. £50m
-
That's a criminally cheap price. Should have been all over that one.
-
Nope, not until they realized they were in the shit. Still struggle to put in the same amount of effort away from home.

Just got a call from a call center doing some sort of questionaire. Politely declined saying I was busy watching football, caller asked which game, said Everton-Chelsea. He had it on in the background as well, and was sad that Everton was in the lead. Both agreed it would be fun if Everton lost despite none of us being Chelsea fans just because it would be fun in Everton got relegated. Told me to enjoy the match and hung up.
