I thought Lewis looked good the two matches before he went off injured. I've no doubt he's more than capable as a back-up/competition LB to Targett to where we want to be next season. If we don't sign Targett permanently we obviously will need someone new to come in though.

He had a two or three attempts at long passes that went straight into the crowd under little/no pressure which looked awfully bad. Besides those, his passer were ok as far as I can remember.

People may think they are prepared to give him time now, but come January/February next year if Man Utd are not playing well and sitting bottom half of the table I guarantee the vast majority will be singing a different tune. He will have to have some level of success to keep his job even while rebuilding the club.

If he can manage up to 12 goals for Fulham next season that would be a great achievement. That's maybe enough to be among the top 10 goal scorers this season.

If Man City can manage to bed Foden into their team, then surely we could for Elliot as well with arguably less to play for next season than any of the years Man City found time for him? 2017–18 - 5 games 2018–19 - 13 games 2019–20 - 23 games 2020–21 - 28 games 2021–22 - 23 games so far He's at the age where he needs to show he can play at this level if he wants to be a great player, so why not give him time ahead of Almiron, Murphy and Fraser? If we can't manage to give him any time on the pitch I'd prefer him going back to The Gas so he can help them get consecutive promotions as he seems to thrive in their team under Barton.

Just watched a highlight video of him, and it really goes to show how much better we'd be as a team with a striker like that where the ball will stick when it's played up to him. Someone like him would be a massive upgrade not only in terms of goals, but also in the way we can play as a team when we don't lose possession 8/10 times the ball is played up to our striker.
