  1. This. Wolves play and set up very similar to how Tottenham does. If no lessons are learnt it will end, probably not as bad, but similar to the game today.
  2. He can't have had more than about 10 touches all game
  3. Most people recognise his limitations and that he's not worth what we paid for. Most people also know it doesn't help anyone when so many keep hapring on and on and on about it. It's so tedious and boring to read. Nobody can present a better option as an alternative to discuss, which is why he is also starting every match. We all know.
  4. So Wood is the best option we have. Thanks for confirming.
  5. Both Burn and Joelinton afraid to go in due to being on yellows. Fuck.
  6. First time in 43 minutes Tottenham has looked dangerous. Obvious blow, but if we can frustrate them even more I reckon we can still nick this one.
  7. Similar to the Shelvey FK against Leeds. Something Howe & his team has figured out with how teams are setting up to defend those that nobody else has caught onto yet?
  8. He's started with his three point stance when defending 1v1 already. He usually don't break that one out until around 50-60 minutes. We'll see Bruno on fairly early second half imo.
  9. Eh? Spurs player went in as well. Never a foul. Burn penalised just because he is bigger.
  10. We've had the best chance to score despite Tottenham controlling the game.
  11. It's a fair comment. HBA is/was better than both Ginola and Robert.
  12. Don't think there's any reason good enough for you to not want to start him tbh. We get it!
  13. If Sanchez had started ahead of Dier, Tottenham would have fielded a team from 11 different nations. Don't know if that is worthy of a mention, but it caught my eye when looking at the team Happy with Howe's selection. Bruno on the bench for obvious reasons. We can definitely get something from this, and I'm sure Howe has prepared them really well, but expecting a loss purely by the quality of the Spurs players.
  14. Would like him to stay and see how he does with a better team, but wouldn't be too bothered if he was sold either from a sporting point of view (assuming ofc that someone better comes in). He'll forever be one of the few shining lights in a dark period of this clubs history and for that I'll always appreciate him. Don't think anyone would be prepared to offer £50m for him.
  15. If they are going for the "evolution over revolution" approach, I think people need to be prepared for there to still be one or two obvious holes in the squad that hasn't been patched with new players after August. If I were to guess right now, on the assumption that is the strategy the owners are going for right now, I'd guess we'd bring in Targett on permanent deal, a young striker (Eketite, Diaz or Brennan Johnson type of player that can play on the wing and up front), a CB (Botman, Kelly or Gvardiol) and GK (Henderson or Kepa on loan). I'd be satisfied with that tbh. Clear improvement of the squad and some young blood showing owners wants us improving and aiming for a brighter future. I'd fucking love it though if we were to go after signings like Nunez, Antony, Pino, Phillips, Hickey, Paqueta, Diaby etc so low key hope the transfer strategy/budget rumours are just a smoke screen without being massively dissapointed if it isn't.
  16. "Bruno Guimarães match agaisnt Bolivia" for what seems to be every single touch of the ball he had during the game.
  17. Wouldn't mind Werner here, admittedly that is not based on anything other than a feeling that he'd do well and that he is a really funny guy.
