Probably the worst manager performance we've seen from him today. Loved that he made big changes at HT, as it was desperately needed. Annoyed it wasn't just a simple like for like with Barnes for Gordon, Ramsey/Miley for Joelinton and Burn for Hall. If it's another 4 years until next time I won't complain.

Players lost us the 1st half, Howe lost us the 2nd half. Shit game against a shit team playing like shit. Hope we fucking smash Bilbao wednesday to get that awful taste out of our mouths.

Main difference in games for me is that against Spurs we kept pressing them in their own half. Today we lose the ball and it's regrouping into low blocks allowing West Ham to gain confidence and control. Us losing the ball wouldn't be a big issue if we just tried to get it back again as we know we can.

Lets be honest - the praise is for him doing the bare minimum you'd expect from a striker in the PL. Like a young Newcastle version of Chris Wood.

I agree with the sentiment of having "proper" clubs being back in the PL. However, Wolves, with three first divisions trophies (all of them more recent than us), 4 FA cup trophies and two league cups not a proper club?

I have no other plausible explanation for it. Or, not as blunt as you put it, but rather that they chose to focus on other things they consider more important with the time they have set aside for training.

His kicking is so poor, i refuse to believe such a talented and smart player is unable to improve it noticably with some focused training. He's good, but I think he can be better if he wants to with not much extra effort. I'm not expecting hum to suddenly become Ederson with his feet, just better than he is now.

Should be rewarded with another start this weekend. Hopefully lights a fire under Popes ass to put more work into his ball control and passing.

His sprinting style is a bit like watching a stretched Almiron the way he bobs his head and legs not fully doing what his mind wants them to do. Like most tall guys, he is faster than he looks for sure.
