  1. Since we've got Biden and Pfizer now, can we please get the fucking takeover done and dusted before the year ends?
  2. What is the highest amount of games for the bottom 3 teams not to win a single game? Surely the current teams must be getting close to a record now.
  3. They are all the same shit in different wrapping.
  4. What? Writing on phone so don't want to elaborate too much. Not saying hes played particularly well, but he seems a little sharper or more rapid than he's been ever since coming back from his injury. He hasn't run around with the Shola stroll today. I think the opposite. Been watching him and hendrick off the ball and neither of them give a shit. Jog jog, walk, jog, stop. Fair enough. I haven't paid any special attention to him. Was just a thought I got when i saw him on the ball during the short decent spell we had just after going behind.

  6. Playing some decent football atm. Longstaff looks sharp.
  7. Wat..how can you possibly single out Darlow after that? Awful by Almiron.
  8. He was just as average and forgetful as Hendrick. Funny to see how positive people are in this thread compared to the Hendrick thread after today.
  9. It's easy to look good defending with 5 at the back when the opposing team doesn't have anyone with pace or particular dribbling ability. We saw this against West Ham and Burnley too. Another case of looking better than we actually are. No way we'd win today if Everton had Digne, Richarlison and James in the team.
  10. Agreed. Almost Rafa-esque performance today. Just incredibly solid at the back. It's just the same as our West Ham and Burnley match. Teams with no pace will struggle against us.
  11. Any chance we'll see Bruce take off a CB for Joelinton or Fraser during second half?
  12. Oh and this. We're in a pandemic where hand hygiene is an important part of reducing spread of the virus. Filthy!
  13. No team will have a better opportunity than this to beat Everton with all their injuries. Fully expect us to sit back and salvage a draw no matter how much Everton invites us to play for the win.
  14. Hope not. Bruce would somehow manage to force him into the side together with Hayden, Shelvey and Hendrick. Would be more awful to watch than the deadly trio of Butt, Smith and Geremi under Allardyce.
  15. Didn't someone call a Murphy goal earlier in this thread?
  16. It's worst when the defenders have the ball, even in acres of space they are scared to carry the ball forward, they end up just passing it uselessly amongst themselves until it ends up being hoofed forward. Tbf it is the only opportunity they have to string more than two passes together, so maybe they're padding the stats?
  17. It's funny to watvh. The players have no clue what to do when in posession and just wing it. To me that looks like the main reason why they can't string more than two passes together. There's no recognized pattern of play. The players with the ball have no idea where team mates are, will be or what runs they are likely to make.
  18. As long as we don't play too many attackers we should be ok. 2-0 defeat.
  19. Wasn't aware it was only one year contract. Fair enough then Still don't think he'll add any value to Brighton, but at least he won't be to the detriment of the team by taking up a decent wage for x years better spent elsewhere.
  20. I would never base my judgement of a team on a performance against West Ham
  21. Think Bruce has decided he's 'Rafa's player'. It's absolutely bonkers. I've never been Almirons biggest fan with his ridiculous theatrics, but you could put him literally anywhere in our midfield except for ASM and he'd improve the team massively.
  22. Worth mentioning that Hayden is anchoring the midfield behind Shelvey and Hendrick as well
