He's never a premiership footballer in a million years. I know he's barely played but he has no defining qualities. Had a couple of decent touches early on He gets in good positions offensively to receive the ball. Too bad his crossing is awful. Wouldnt be surprised if he gets into these positions because West Ham allows it.

Who says that? I only seen people saying there is a place for him in the national team. Either way, good players makes mistakes too.

He's 29 already!? I assumed he was 26 or so at most but had to google him when I read the Rummenigge quotes about him wanting a new challenge at the end of his career. Probably worth it though foir Liverpool to have someone of his quality for the next 3 years, but I don't think it's a "cut-price" deal as the article claims. If I were Bayern and saw a chance to cash in on him now at 29, with one year left on his contract, with the pandemic potentially lowering the price on players in general, I'd snap Liverpools hands off for £31m.

Would love a PPV option as that would be a lot more cost effective for me than ordering a package with a lot of matches and channels I don't watch or use. However I think it would be more ammunition for the bigger clubs to claim more of the TV money when they can show to increased buy rates to their matches compared to smaller teams which again would make things more uneven then they already are so I am a bit torn on whether it's a good or bad idea.

Definitely nostalgia for me. I'd love to see the clubs back in the PL such as Nottingham Forest and Leeds from the time where my interest in English football shot off, watching every match that was sent on TV, playing CM 96-98, Fifa 94-98, collecting and trading cards & stickers, play football outside pretending to be players you'd seen score nice goals on sunday goals when parents or friends partents threw us out for being inside too long. That being said, it is only a nostalgic wish that they come back up based on merit.

What do you mean by reactions? From here or from media? Most people on here I would assume aren't against the approach given our personnel, but: 1. react on the fact that the approach gets different reactions from media based on who the manager is and 2. react on the fact that one manager was honest in his approach, while the other says one thing and does another

He's changed my mind and think he has justified a contract extension no matter who owns, manages and plays for the club next season. I think he's a good addition to the team. He's a senior player in a relatively young squad, knows the club and the people within it well. As far as I can see he is a good communicator on the pitch and assume he is the same in training as well, and he's a good option to have on the bench - look at the way he took down the ball, controlled it, looked up and passed the ball to Gayle against Villa - excellent play!

Serves Bruce well for not bringing him here.
