I hate Man City. Mancini said he would make changes to the team that played midweek. I have Aguero & Dzeko. Such a waste if he drops either of them. Tevez starting to get some game time as well now, and played only 10 minutes midweek, so looks like he is definitely starting against Fulham. But for who? Dzeko played 81 mins midweek, and Aguero played the whole match. Dzeko got dropped last round, while Aguero started. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU Mancini for making it hard for me. With Man Utd playing Chelsea, I don´t want to replace either Aguero or Dzeko with someone from there, and with Liverpool playing Tottenham, I don´t want to replace them with any strikers from those teams either.

Not really doza. After an injury, you body is more prone to strains and agitating the healed injury. Train light, and step it up bit by bit. Build some of the lost muscle mass back and then ease him into to the team. Look at the Souness-era when he constantly played players just back from injury, only to get injured again.

He played a good amount on Simpsons side in the 2nd half, and other than the one time he got in behind him to get a shot on goal I can´t remember him having the better of Simpson. The one time he was played through, it was Saylor who played him onside.

I think one of the reasons people are going OTT is that the changes that needed to be made were so blatantly obvious for everyone to see. If Pardew had put Santon on for Raylor after half-time, and got Ba/Sameobi on for Shola at least before the 60 minute mark, trying to play a bit more positive, I think most people would have been quite satisfied with the result today knowing that we at least tried. Given Raylors importance since the start of the season, I think it´s fair game that he got to start, but he should have been off at half-time given how the game went. Maybe Pardew struck a deal with Warnock? If he kept Raylor on, Warnock would swap SWP over to the left? I think Warnock saved us a point today by doing that.

No chance. Shearer 94/97 was the perfect centre forward. He had absolutey everything in his locker. Other than what I´ve already listed, please inform me what Shearer at his peak is better at than todays Rooney. I´d also like to throw in the arugement that Rooney doesn´t have the same tactical assignments as Shearer had. I think Rooney would score more goals if Ferguson allowed him to have the same role in Man Utd as Shearer had in Blackburn and here.

Personally I think Shearer is obviously a tad overrated on here, which is not surprising at all really. Yes, at his peak Shearer was better than Rooney has ever been as a pure striker, but Rooney still has many years left, and I don´t think we´ve even seen him peak yet. If I was asked to pick either Shearer in his peak, or Rooney at his best form we´ve seen so far, I´d take Shearer. However I´d gamble on Rooney if I´d have to pick either Shearer at his peak or Rooney today as he has the potential to be better than Shearer ever was. Other than scoring goals and heading the ball, Rooney is better than Shearer ever was at everything else, and he still has time to improve.
