  1. Wish he would just retire from football all together.

To be fair, it is expected that an established PL side have to sell their best assets if they Are relegated. The fact that we had the priveledge to replace these players by buying and loaning premiership players (albeit not that highly rated players as we sold) it is hard to argue that we didn't buy the title this season, IMO. Rafa's big test will come this season as I belive a lot of managers would have achieved what he has achieved this season onthe sporting side of the club.
  3. Knows the club, players, manager, system. Decent cover with attributes that also can fulfill a strategic purpose on the bench if he is brought on late in a game against tired legs. Cheap. No brainer if you ask me. et's not forget that despite not having the best season with us, he had good performances on the international stage so it is very plausible that his performance for us can improve next season even if the opposition is better than this year.
  4. How can Charnley beeing locked up be a bad thing? Throw the fucking key away! As someone already have said, it's very unlikely that this will have any sporting implications. Just rejoice in the fact that this is the best chance we have of getting rid of that bald cunt.
  5. At least. Hope and think quite a few players will leave as well in the summer so we need some squad/back up upgrades as well.

    Wayne Rooney

Milner You can't compare Milner to Rooney Okay? Milner a wonderkid? Besides the fact he "burst" onto the scene early (mainly due to a Leeds in free fall following fire sale of key players they couldnt replace) I don't see any comparison to him and the likes of Rooney and Owen.
  7. Doesn't change the fact he has the most talented group of players in the division. Im sure about 100% of championship managers could/would say the same. Failing to get promoted with this squad would be a massive failure and f*** up regardless of lack of investment in january/not getting wanted players in the summer. That beeing said, Im extremely confident that he will take us up, and few bad games where we have our key spine in the team out with injuries doesn't change that. I like that he is keeping true to his philosophy as I think it will make the team more prepared for better teams next season. Who are all these talented players? Not counting say, Gayle, shelvey and Richie. In addition to those you so kindly already listed, Clarke, Yedlin, Atsu and Hayden would walk into the starting XI of any team in this league. Possibly even Anita, Mitrovic, Gouffran and Perez. Don't agree at all, Clark yes although none of us would have thought when he signed. Atsu absolutely not, big fan of Hayden and his injury is part of the reason why we've struggled. The other four, no. Goufran ffs. Please tell me which team in the fucking championship would turn down the opportunity to field a 30 year old winger/striker with experience from PL, europe and previous ligue 1 winner? I know we don't like him on here, mainly due to previous years, but don't be so naive because of what the consensus is on here.

  10. We can't have two slow wingers starting in the PL.

    Sammy Ameobi

    Fucking Ameobis man.
  13. This is my thinking as well. We might not steamroll lesser teams in this division with the football we are playing, but it feels like Rafa is preparing the team for tougher tasks next season where this style could prove to be mega valuable to us.
  14. David Prutton the CM 01/02 talent from Nottingham Forest? If so, maybe he has a chip on his shoulders that Bobby brought in Jenas instead of him.
  15. Depends if you think Ranieri is a great manager. Letting Sir Bob go wan't the problem, getting the right replacement was. The timing and manner of letting Bob go was the problem, and after that getting in the wrong replacement was a new problem.
  16. On one hand, unless proven otherwise, I hate the fact that Rafa possibly has been screwed over on any potential transfers they have lined up. Would still like more information than a vague sentence in a post match interview after a disappointing draw. On the other, if he really is a manager worth keeping he should promote us easily with this squad. Personally I think any transfer funds available should be saved up to boost the squad next season in the PL, and that´s what I would be telling my manager if I was an owner in this situation, but ultimately let the decision be up to the manager.
  17. Remember I wanted McCarthy to join us around the time he went to Everton. Definite yes for me.
  18. Pretty much what Ronaldo said. I think £9m was a steal for a player of that calibre and really good piece of business despite the stories about Shepherds "negotiation skills" floating around. Loved his performance in his debut against Man Utd. Injury completely messed him up beyond repair.
