Of course the first week I change my fantasy team before Friday I substitute Jesus for Abraham.

This is my thinking as well. We might not steamroll lesser teams in this division with the football we are playing, but it feels like Rafa is preparing the team for tougher tasks next season where this style could prove to be mega valuable to us. I feel this is paying off now.

If John Smith scores 38 goals in one match and plays the remaining 37 games without scoring and playing bad in general, the stats will say he needs to play because he is a prolific goal scorer who statistically scores every game he plays.

Looked like a 40 year old with his running, but his technique and head is still solid. The performance wasn't that impressive, but measured against the expectations before the match I am positively surprised. I wouldn't be worried if we see him starting again.

With no obvious weak links from last game, everyone should keep their place unless its for specific tactical reasons.

I like Mitrovic, even though I know I shouldn't and that hes a deadly combination of being naive/reckless/dumb (dunno which one) and a marked man. Hope he has a good season for us after this.

Good start. Messed up once, misplaced some passes. Then instead of crumbling and let the game pass him by he stepped up and played really well second half - intercepted balls, drove team forward, some lush passes. Looking forward to see how he develops. Looks more like he could become our improved, more diciplined Shelvey.

But why not just loan him out, with a loan fee, and sell him on again after loan expires if that's the case? Sounds kind of silly to in essence pay another club £25m to take him for a year in the hope that he flourishes so you can sell him. Im sure there must be several clubs willing to pay them for a years loan.
