He would have bought Darren Bent. That alone would have contributed to doing worse than Souness and effectively sealed his fate while also leaving the club in a worse state by having him on the wage bill until he was 34 years old. The only thing im thrilled about, considering the predicament we are in, is that Pardew is not allowed to sign who he wants.

I just don't understand why we wouldn't compete with Sunderland today. They showed against Liverpool that they are capable of doing it. I knew after the first 15 minutes that we would lose. I strongly believe all the team had to do to today was to match the commitment Sunderland would show, and sadly they failed, whilted under the pressure or didn't think they had to. Either way it's not good. For all the shit Pardew is responsible for, I think the players should take most of the blame today.

Astonishing how a player with his physique can be so toothless and weak in the challenge. Was the right move by Pardew to take him off.

I agree to some extent that its , but TBH, I do the same for a lot of other stuff which im sure if you think about it, you do too.
