Made the classic mistake of taking out a player before this round that I have kept in the side since the first round in hope that he hits a purple patch (Soldado) and replaced him with someone currently on form (Lukaku). Why does this happen ALL the time? On a similar note, I also put Sturridge as captain and also placed a fairly handsome bet on Liverpool to win thinking I´ve bluffed faith into thinking a Newcastle win is the most sensible option to fuck me over. What a rollercoaster of a match. Was buzzing at 1-0. If I wasn't such a man I would have cried when MYM fucked up. Cloud nine when Dummet scored quickly followed by anxiety. "Oh well" when Liverpool equalised again. "Fair enough" at full time. On the whole though I think we should and would have won if MYM hadn't spoilt everything. Would definitely had taken 2-2 before the match started, like many on here, but that shouldn't be a reason for not being slightly dissapointed with the result. I was still proud of what the remaining players showed in the second half.
