I love this place, but this thread is pathetic. It reeks of bitterness and double standards regarding football and politics. I like that they gave them to two completely different countries that have never hosted the world cup before. That's the way it should be, as FIFA represents all footballing nations, even those without footballing history and same views (on life and politics) as yours. I think both will be excellent wc's.

I know it's ultimatly his fault, but I feel sorry for him because he is going to get hassled by opponents in most games he plays from now on, and basically he can't do anything in revenge. Must be really frustrating. He can suck it up and play fair, but it won't ever stop.

I think any big transfer out of the club would be invested again, but it would include wages as well as transfer fees and agent fees. Don't know why, but that's what I think.

He's a comedy hero man. He would also be a great back up, as he can cover many positions and would be great to have when defending a lead due to his defensive capabilities and work rate. Would still get a lot of game time even if he weren't a regular starter. Wouldn't say that it is a priority to replace him though. Hes good....and funny.
